you may have goal horns, but you'll never have *T E S L A C O I L S*
MidN Music Someoneâs gonna die
slamdunkceltics it fires blanks though. But its still amazing
slamdunkceltics imagine if they mage it so it could fire a real cannonball inte like a net on the other side. That would be insane
But you wonât have a Cup...
(That was a hell of a playoff run)
Or howls
Thank you Chicago for starting a wonderful tradition in hockey.
infantryman2004 your welcome
No problem
No problemo
And it's still one the best in hockey.
Youâre welcome.
I love hearing a goal horn when a hockey team scores a goal. The sport of hockey would just never be the same without them.
Seattle's horn comes from a Seattle ferry that was decommissioned, and much like how Vegas uses Panic at the disco, a Vegas-based band as their goal song, Seattle uses Lithium by Nirvana, a Seattle based band, followed by "let's go kraken" chants
Thatâs dope
@@goalhorn2012 the horn is a doran-cunningham 6b ferry horn off of the m.v hyak.
And Dallas uses "Puck Off" by Pantera - a Dallas band.
Goal Horns make the goals so much better!
7s0x no way. They are so bad. Makes me not want to watch
AggressivelySpicy Highlights2673 oh well
@@tmlfan7785 are you ok?
I Took A Shit Today not really. Iâm a dick that peruses the internet looking for people to piss off
They for sure do so good. It makes a great theme and gets the crowed pumped
The Red Wings desperately need a new goal horn. That recording sounds like it's coming from the other end of a phone line.
Ruben T it was a lot better at the joe, I went to a game at LCA in March and it sounded like a recording which wasnât horrible but you could clearly tell itâs not a true horn
It sounds terrible. Anything would sound better than that recording. I wouldn't care if it sounded like a horn off a child's bike. At least have a real horn
Yeah lol
Yeah :(
Hockeytown needs a whole new goal horn.
This video is great. Very professional too. You should do one about defunct horns, although you did mention some of them.
Bobby T. Dude I swear I see your comment in every video I watch
Wish you would've mentioned that the dallas stars goal song is "Puck Off" by Pantera and was made just for the team! From one Texas legend to another.
Vancouver actually used Crowd Chant as their goal song, in 2008-09. It was the song that preceded Holiday.
Preach, they brought holiday back for the Sedines goodbye but itâs probably retired now. Good times as a Vancouverite..
Sir. Blinci You sure about that? :)
â@@BlinciLIVEhere to tell you they also played the song during Luongo night, though it sadly wasn't played for the goals scored that game. I went through the effort of getting tickets for the game in hopes they would in honor of him from those years.
Finding out that the Blue Jackets cannon sound doesn't come from the cannon itself is the saddest news I've heard in a while
Ikr but i guess it makes it safwr
@@dirtracer7778 they could fire blanks
Atlanta United FC News:
NYCFC has caught on with goal horns and has started using one after they score a goal. Aka for ATL fans: we did it boys.
Yeah thanks! I've wanted goal horns in MLS for a long time
@@KidsReviewAlexnguyen same
As a long-time Sharks fan, I had no idea their goal horn came from an aircraft carrier! Thank you so much for the info and bit of Sharks trivia.
it kind of ties in to the fact that San Diego is the home port of the US Navy's Pacific Fleet.
@@digitalrailroader I think you meant San Jose, not San Diego
Awesome video! It definitely looks like you put a lot of time and effort into this.
One thing worth noting, is that the Dallas Stars goal song was written, composed, & preformed by the famous heavy metal group Pantera.
Vegas can't be original, though, since they love to copy the Avalanche goal horn.
S Choudhry Cry
I say that every time
With a significantly better goal song though
For those curious, the Jets goal horn is a Nathan P5 old cast.
Also, the failed Islanders goal horn was supposed to be modeled after the horns used on LIRR EMUâs (utilizing variants of the Leslie S2M).
Actually I found that itâs a Nathan P5 Mixed cast
rushs11 *Leslie RS5T, tuned to a higher pitch.
@@USARailProductions It's actually a Leslie SL4T also known as an S4T

you are my teacher
Javon King Don't know that this guy is the best guy to listen to. There were goal horns back in the 30's and 40's.
same
thanks
This is great! Nothing but excellence and your hard work just shows that. Clever use of playing the current goal songs for each team too.
For some reason, I never realized that so much thought was put into goal horns but of course there would be! Love it
Tremendous video! I love learning all Sports History! Especially on unique aspects that are a big part of every game!
This is honestly one of the best videos Iâve ever seen before. Cheers to N2B!
Great video. Very informative!
Very enjoyable and informative video on something we all love about hockey. I also love the Dangle addition when talking about the Bruins goal horn... It is true.
Hearing these horns live again isn't too far away. I can't wait.
I love the train horn the Kings use!
Me too! It used to have the Lightning horn!
Same! Itâs FUCKING LOUD in person!
Hearing Holiday being played in the background gave me goosebumps of nostalgia and a jittery excitement, lighting my face with a smile when i heard them score back in those years they played that song
@10:39 AYYY!!! THATS MY VIDEO!! COOOL!!!!!!!
Itâs about time you did this. Great video.
Impressive video bud! Amazing research. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for covering the CBJ horn and cannon! Even though Iâm a Jackets I dig the Jets horn and Blues horn and song especially!
I love the voice over and the quality of you videos keep it up!!
Great video! You can tell a lot of work was put into this
To this day I still cannot figure out what the model horn / recording the Devils used prior to the Prudential Center. Such a unique one.
Holy shit dude nice work! The depth of research here is impressive!
As a Leafs fan part of this vid made my skin crawl. But I appreciate all the work you put into this and all your vids. So much detail and creativity I give you props. I also thank you for your work as this has led to me downloading the songs associated with the horns. Can't wait for next season, cause my team's season will be fun!
You're making my dreams come true!
Aged like fine milk
I Know About Trains I Know What Your Talking About CP Stands For Canadian Pacific And The Horn Is A Narrow Font K5HA/K5LA And Thats A Narrow Font K3HA Sounds Weird Because The 2 And 3 Bell Are Dead So Thats Why It Sounds Weird
The Jets use a high tuned RS5T.
An interesting and informative video. Well done!
Great video, the effort shows in the details!
Love our bruins goal horn! Love the songs we sometimes play to! I still havenât been to a nhl game though which sucks.
0:27 history of the entire nhl goal horns, i guess
This is a great video bro
I love these horns! Especially the Nathan ones!
Iâve been a wild fan since day one and I never knew that there was a horn above the lighthouse, this is amazing thank you!
this is seriously the best video I have ever watched.
Awesome video. Great Information
Great video, sir.
Stars horn was added in the 97 playoffs. There are still 2 KDT-123's at American Airlines Center. Both facing each goal.
now i know more about goal horns! Thanks!
This video was absolutely amazing
Glad you made a video like this make more history videos man subscribed đ
13:16 I love my team's howling traditions. Never gets old.
Why didn't ya mention Werewolves of London? That sh!t was straight fire in the 90s!
Edit: Oh wait this video was uploaded before we started doing Kachina Saturdays
I never knew o liked horns so much. This is actually dope af.
This is the best vid ive ever seen in my entire life
#1 for mentioning the Whalers. I was actually channel surfing one night and saw a crowd pan of a Carolina came and one of the people in the stands was wearing a Whalers jersey.
My boys just won the MLS Cup! I'm so happy! I just let their horn ring through my ears as I did my "victory screech"
Really good vid man, Iâm still your favorite coyote fan
*only
It was too easy to make this joke. I know they have fans hence why the whiteout clip is in this video.
Iâm a coyote fan Ayoo Gavin you and I are the only ones
Good to know that there is one CZcamsd who actually likes Boston
G.O.A.T Reacts Ew Boston
Nothing against you
I'm just a Lightning Fan
No offense
Bernie Grows I have all the respect in the world for the lightning they have a very good team
I like this video. Iâm only halfway through. One incorrect fact about the Montreal horn. To my memory of hockey night in Canada the horn was around certainly in 1997. It was however quite a bit quieter. I am really enjoying all of the information on the specific models of horn.
Lol 15:15 I took that video. It was put to good use! Awesome!
I work for the Flames, and I can confirm the horn was installed in 2001. I also have better photos of the horns if you'd like them.
Actually it was 2002
Information I've never heard before and Bruins fans? You have earned a subscriber lol

This is very well made
Great Video! I think one of the stadiums should install a train steam whistle! I think it would provide one of the most unique goal horn.
Finally, I knew someone would do this sooner or later
Wow. Hey Conor nice seeing you here
Love the facts about the isles horn
GREAT Video, N2B, I have one question, what is your favorite goal horn and song? God Bless!!
In the NHL my personal favorite is the Sharks combo
Cool,mine is the Bruins combo!!
Canucks with holiday.
Love what you do!!
Awesome video đđ»đđ»đđ»
Detroit fitted a replica horn to the Joe Louis horn in LCA a little while back. Sounds beautiful now.
Not NHL related, but the Sandman Centre, the home arena for the WHL team the Kamloops Blazers, plays a siren sound followed by the song âTakinâ Care Of Businessâ when a goal is scored
Best video on youtube!
This is really cool!!!
This video was interesting! I always wondered what horns those teams use.
This is an amazing video.
Fun fact: the goal horn only sounds when the home team scores a goal and itâs triggered by someone in a booth pressing a button
Some of these facts I didn't even know about! Like the Lightning's tesla coils or the Wild's lighthouse!!
I waited 18 minutes thinking the devils werenât gonna come up but I was so happy when it did
I love how Minnesota doesn't play with its Goal Horn. And that is coming from a Wild Fan, and I feel like I'd wish more teams stayed with the Classic Goal Horn.
The new goal horn song is great too with a call and response with the fans.
Fantastic video
Very similar sounding horns: Nashville/Buffalo, Vegas/Colorado, Florida/Minnesota & Toronto/Tampa/St Louis
And philly
Most underrated thing in sports
really great video
Very nice video there, you got my attention with something you said, about Rock and Roll pt. 2 being banned by the NHL.
Why was it banned and are there other songs that have been banned. That'd be a good video.
The guy who wrote it was convicted of attempted rape, and having sex with a minor, among other crimes in 2015.
i'm a Caps fan.
they used Iron Maiden's "Wicker Man" as their goal song for a few seasons in the 2010s. actually, the end of the song: "whoa, whoa, whoa..."
I'm so mad at the Caps probably because I am a Lightning Fan. But I have nothing against them, tho.
Your friend has a nice voice there
Hey it's CJets!
Ziggmanster Yep! I like hockey as well lol
@@CJetsPlanespotting let me guess jets?
CDUBB99 yeah lol
As well as the Flames
Hey some more avgeeks and hockey fans!
Nice video
Buffalo memorial auditorium was the most intimidating arena to play in that place shook !!!!
I really the change of videos!
You should do every single horn from all the teams. (Every change)
With the horns itself.
I absolutely love the Kings train horn. Must buy for my truck.
Awesome video loved it and Iâm about 90% sure half the hockey goals views are from my son as he listens/plays them everyday while playing hockey in the House
Awesome video
Thanks for using my video!
This video is awesome
Amazing video, I love the Panthers, Coyotes and Leafs goal horn! I think no doubt Leafs have the loudest horn :)
Ayee Peep ZUBRUS 10:06
Fun Fact, he just became president of Lithuanian Hockey
Great video
I'm a Hawks fan and i had no idea my team started this iconic tradition.
