This review is the BEST I've ever seen of anything I've checked out a review for and I've watched a lot of reviews. Concise, inclusive of all the aspects and features, never a dull moment as the pacing is absolutely perfect. No chit chat or story time bullshit and no sponsorship ads thrown in at all. This video should be the "how to" of how to make a review video for anything. I'd be very impressed if there was any way you could improve on this video as it is already perfect. Superb job my friend!

You might have saved me some sadness as I was looking at a 6300 which I *thought* must be a better spec than the 6100. Boy was I wrong, especially as I am looking for video performance thanks again!

By far the best broken down analysis of the A6 range cameras. Would appreciate if you could do the same to the Sony A7 full frame series cameras in the near future. Specifically A7iii A7rii A7riii and if the A7rii autofocus in both video and stills would be worth it in 2020 on a Budget. Appreciate it! New sub here.

Great video, personally I am lusting after a A6500 for video work.
BTW for the more 'adventurous' of us it's worth noting that the inner configurations of these cameras are getting understood at the "Sony-PMCA-RE" project on GitHub. For example the remote video limitation of the A6000 (and A5000) can be worked around by changing what the camera thinks it's model name is.... more/other configuration parameters have been reverse-engineered.

couldn't be better and more clear comparison than that....excellent work...I have to mention a couple of short mistakes though....sony/zeiss 24 1.8, does not feature oss....and a6300/a6500, feature eye af....it's just a bit less advanced than the newer one, but it's still working great...big thanks again...keep it up!!

Damn sony menus....didn't find it in the regular menus and didn't think you would have to set it to a function button to use it, becaue it defaults to off. 24 f1.8 is a plain mistake though.....damn...
Thanks for letting me know though!

@@Mark10ProVideo don t worry brother....it took me almost a year to find out how it works, and it happened accidentaly...i don t understand though, why sony decided to "hide" this feature this way...maybe in order to be able to sell it as something new with the updated models...anyway...after all, i can tell you for sure that i don t miss anything from my a6500, that the new models can offer....anyway, for video i use mainly the nx80 semi pro camcorder which is excellent, and only occasionally my cameras, so photo is my main use and as such i am sticking with a6500, until the next real revolution in aps c-no intention to go ff...
ps. after you assign a button for eye af, you need to keep it pressed, while you press the shutter button, at the same time

I got a used a6000 with 7500 shutter actuations for like 310 bucks. Have been very happy with it. Have had to take it apart once. To deal with a weird issue with the mode dial. But is resolved. Love the camera.

I'm having a little trouble. I have the budget for either the 6300 or the 6100. I'm worried about the non weather sealed 6100. I do mostly wildlife photography and landscape photography. The issue is that 6400s seem to be at such an inflated price used. I'm curious if I should just take the risk in the newer 6100 over the weather sealed 6300. Any help could help.

I want to purchase one of these but had a question. I will be using my sigma 100-400 that has stabilization built in. It's full frame so equivalent to 600 fully extended. My question is will I need ibis to comfortably shoot sharp photos at that focal length, or will the lens stabilization be enough? That will determine if the a6100 or a6500 would be the choice for me.
