Yes, people can be this stupid . I watched in horror when a young Mom with her kid crossed in front of a stopped Metra train at the 80th Ave station . All to be first out of the parking lot . Train did not move and kill them both . How can she look up at that towering engine and know the Engineer can see them ? I was speechless, but I wanted to curse her out for risking her kid’s life . Never forgot it- always respect trains .
