- Fitting for the day, here's a requested longer edit of pt 1-5 on the fails reel for some foolin' around. I had a few comments asking for longer segments, so here's the first five in one place! Planning on leading up to the rest of the series, and 10th installment!

“Track one, no defect” *immediately derails*
It legit jumped off the track 😭
@@SNIXC true
Yeah, you’re right
Lol
Hmmm, are you sure there was “no defect”? Hmmmmm
7:39 “Hurrah, hurrah! We’ve broken away! We’ve broken away! Chase him, bump him, throw him off the rails!!”
“Hurry, Duck! Hurry!”
The sound of the wheels clanking against the sleepers is the warning that a huge derailment is coming
To me, that’s a cue to put the thing into reverse and slam the brakes…
@@RailsofForney mli concpur
My hornby wagons do that too much😊
I hope no one got hurt, in the making of this very informative video. I never get tired of seeing the hand cranes either..Nothing comes close to hand cranes. As a former owner, foreman engineer and hand crane operator, when I was a kid.. I approve this video 👍
wait there are passengers on the train ?
@@Victhehomie not on a freight train. There are passengers on commuter/ passenger trains
@@TZrailfaning 🤦🏾
Bruh there’s no passenger trains in this one other than 4:39 no one obviously got hurt
@@KopersBustDexster ok my apologies 🤦🏽
I noticed that about half of these derailments are caused by a fresh brand new piece of rolling stock. You should always check the clearances including coupling height use shims where needed. Also on Kay-Dee couplers there is a low hanging pin, may need adjustment. Wheel gauging from flange to flange so they don't pick the track switches. Remember just because it's new doesn't mean it's correctly in specifications.
When an N-Scale derails it’s an inconvenience.
When an H-O scale derails it’s a disaster.
When a G scale derails it’s an incident.
(And when an O scale derails it’s a fire hazard.)
And when you have a broad-gauge train derail, (one of the smaller ones, not the 1:1 consists.)
That’s dangerous I guess.
@@RailsofForney oh yeah I forgot about those kinds of trains! Yeah that would be more like an “Amtrak moment”
@@Cyber_Horse_Studios87 I kinda disagree, but I do think I understand what you mean…Lol
this should be pinned
@@RailsofForney I guess a better term could be “an absolute nightmare”.
Is this the most dangerous layout in America?😆
The world may never know..😂
That's like asking if death is fatal.
Yes.
Just imagine this was a real rail way no one would ever work on it lol how many derailments would happen each year
Like trains just backing of the side of the earth I mean cool but
Lol
When the troublesome trucks realize that they aren’t connected to a train 9:06
that is recipe for disaster right there 😂
More concerned for 5:47.
Definitely recipe for disaster😂😂
I’m so glad you show the reality of HO scale. I have N scale myself and I find much less trouble with them then HO. I’m sure with some track work redone and couplers adjusted it runs great. To those of you just starting remember take your time with your track work , don’t be in a rush just to get trains running quick. All it leads to is making more time fixing track work. Great video still a beautiful layout
I think you're looking at N scale with rose-tinted glasses. I'm an N scaler myself and a LOT of this same stuff happens. Although, it's a lot more common on the club layout I run at and its 30 year old Code 55 track that was laid by multiple people over time than on my KATO Unitrak temp layout.
Honestly, both scales can have reliability issues. It's highly dependent on how well the track is laid and if the rolling stock has been toleranced properly.
i crash them on purpose (lightly like runaways and collision) and they dont get scratched
The hololive reference at 4:50 was not expected but very welcome lmaooo
Been in the rabbit hole a while!
0:38 Sega Game Over YEAH!
6:22 Oliver Owns Up reference
I like how roughly half of them are accurate to the real thing (going too fast over switches or around sharp bends) and the rest are ‘and then this guy decided to ruin it for everyone else.’
I love this video. awsome Edit. By the way at 3:57 thats a cute cat
Defect detector mile post 11.4 no defects. The tankers:
0:08 “no defect“ Train:WELL YOU LIED
Once I saw the notification pop up, I clicked instantly. Love the edits and the different trains. Awesome video!
Thanks! A newer take will be coming, but figured I'd compile the older set first.

The amount of default source/goldsrc sound effects just make this funnier somehow.
10:26 do not hump CSX car 😂😂
this right here is the reason i always took my nail clippers to those things and shortened them up a little
9:53 you can faintly hear the engineer about to loose his shit.
The Fat Controller was very cross
5:05 reminds me about lac megantic
I was having a really bad morning but this improved it. thank you!
Glad it could help!
Thank you… i now know I’m not longer the only person who has debilitating crashes on my moderately finished layout. I don’t feel so bad anymore 😅
If you are operating double or triple headed trains on dcc, always be sure you set all locomotives to the same speed.
1. Use a coupler height gauge
2. Weight your cars properly
3. All non-Kadee couplers go straight into the trash
5. See #1 again
Or do none of the above and keep making these fun videos!
6. Wing it and use garbage couplers then get mad cause your trains keep derailing
You mean 4
Or just by ne couplers

Engineer Bob sez "McHenry couplers are sure purdy, but they're no substitute for a good ole Kadee coupler"

Train: Wait why do i hear eurobeat?
One of the cars: DEJA VU! IVE BEEN IN THIS PLACE BEFORE HIGER ON THE STREET -
9:47 “He got out, just in time”
7:57 out of all these looked more realistic. Coupler could've broken off from the rest at a 1.4% - 2% grade and running down hill and hitting the parked train
Love those cartoony sound effects you’ve added, it makes this video better. ☺️🤣

So much later that the old narrator got tired of waiting and they had to hire a new one.
Nice collection
3:05 Bro’s wheels fell asleep
OMG, I'm dying right now. Has to be one of the best train videos.
I LOVE YOUR LAYOUT & YOUR FAILS!!!
Thanks for watching!
Just found these videos. Love these! The sound effects are prefect!
Thanks for checking them out!
No defects, repeat no defects
Sweet compilations and sweet model trains
Normal day, nothing can go wrong!
Nothing foolish at all!
🤣🤣always enjoy these vids from you. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
a little Tip to the couplers at 6:50 . If you put a train at the back of the train that could help the couplers not ripping ( im not really an expert but id like to point it out bc maybe it could help XD )
2:32 I like how the second Southern Pacific is chasing the first like "Get the fuck back here!"
Very cool clip...it is very interesting to see a wagon drifting 😆😆
"No Defects " *derails*
5:08 man is trying to reenact lac megantic
These are just fun, thank you for your sacrifice.
Thanks for watching! Fortunately not much is sacrificed, minus speeding up some coupler swaps.
Thank heavens for the hand of god in helping to retail .
Have you ever noticed it only happens when somebody is filming
Never fails!
I haven't laughed like this in so long game over yeah killed me
The fact the SEGA car derailed makes me think that WHEN the car derailed it killed SEGA and their DreamCast :(

Man. I like these videos. They are great!
All I have to say is what Vision tried to warn Wanda about in Captain America Civil War.

0:44 it is BC Rail K5H

That is so relatable dude 😂😂😂😂
5:37
That always makes me cringe…
Every time a railing or some other super tiny decoration goes flying off its engine, it always makes me question why I even bothered to ignore pasting them to the shell…
Dude, this is some of the funniest and most entertaining stuff on youtube. Keep
'em coming
As long as this layout keeps acting up, will keep them coming!
If I were to experience these fails unexpectedly, I would probably have a hard time.
Same
Thomas has never seen such railway like this
Famous last words: "Why would I be worried about coupler height!?"
THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE HELPER UNITS AT THE BACK OF THE FREACKING TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9:06 - 9:11 haha was hoping the troublesome trucks laughing sound'd be used for a runaway situation, so appropriately hilarious.
1:26 double-stack drift!!!!!
Fast Furious trains!!!!
The box car SHATTERING is just funny.
I just now found your series and some of these crashes look rather expensive 😂
Through it all, nothing has been damaged beyond some cheap couplers and maybe a coupler cover a few times.
I really need to find the video with that Southern Pacific Gevo excursion at 0:14!
It's a BLI SP Fantasy AC6000, there's another video or two featuring it on the channel, albeit this clip was filmed on another layout and not used in those.

I hope the cat had a track and time permit. Fun videos :)
You know i should have seen this video before I through one car against the room and it disintegrated and I still have not found the shell and it's been a few years lol I thought I was the only one!
3:26 - Tremble before the hand of God!
3:37 Don’t just drive off, Hammond! Hammond! Hammond!
Seems like all those highly accurate couplers are causing a lot of the problems- Think I'll stick with my crappy Tyco couplers! Hell- you can't get them apart when you WANT to!
Your railroad is full of fun & excitement! 😁🚂🚃🚃... And that cat! 😸 Used to have a small HO layout in my bedroom, i always find my cat hinding in my tunnel... 😂
The audio made this video f#%k1ng hilarious! Everyone of these has happened on my club's layouts!
Glad you enjoyed! Got a longer video of some more clips dropping this morning!
This really impressive, honestly I was having some difficulty putting the tracks together and powering them
2:26 I can't stop laughing 😂😂
Thank God no one was killed, I can only hope no one was injured. As wonderful as trains are, they can still be deadly.
I had a good chuckle on most of the rollbacks, especially 5:02. Who does the EMERGENCY EMERGENCY EMERGENCY call for that rollback at 7:33?

Hi!
Why'd u unheart it?
My new 85 inch tv was on that boxcar! Lol. This is crazy funny on video but can you imagine running a layout that had all of these problems?
They honestly come and go. Some days are fine, others...Well you see the results here. Part of the cheap entertainment between rebuilding sections as we can.
Nice use of thomas the tank engine sound effects 😀
