Love Other MN Brock but we likely don't need an expensive winger. He is a right shot though which would help immensely on the PP.

They'd still have Faber and Kaprizov to resign. Learn from the Leafs in which having multiple guys with big contracts won't win you anything.

Faber + Kaprizov will be around 20 mil combined resigning. You really can't afford any more star players until you get rid of Spurg, Zuc, Hartman etc.

Spurgeon would need to be in the deal for Marner which means Marner would cost the Wild $3.4M.
The only way I would do a deal for Marner would be to get rid of Spurgeon and I would then let Marner walk in 2026. Boom $10.9M to spend.

They'd save almost $4M in cap in that trade and we all know Spurge is going on LTIR in 2025 which gives the leaves an addition $7.5M . It's a win win for everyone.

Depends if they can't find a RH shot scorer via other means (Rossi trade/draft) This 40 goal season likely priced him out of what GMBG would want to spend, especially if he does it again next year...

It all is laid at the loafers of the Owner whose lone goal is to attain the 2 Home games of Playoff revenue.
Edit:(and often they can't even accomplish that)
Check it out; idgaf about the names of the players or where tf they're from. I want to cheer on a respectable Franchise. Not whatever tf this has been the last 2 decades.
An abundance of horrible drafting and horrible management. This BoEsEr talk that started last year; it's a carrot on a stick. Just like Parise, Pominville, Havlat, Heatley, Ballard, Konopka, ETC. Just another guy who is good at one thing and is aging out. It's an attack on the intellect of the fans who support it and an attempt to keep the Xcel attendance where they need it.
When it comes to the Wild I'll be this guy all day. They're a joke.

Yes I haven’t watched yet but I’ve been saying this for the past 2 years geuntzel or Zegras. But
    Kaprizov Rossi Khusnodinov
    Boldy JEE Boeser
    Hartman Yurov Zuccarello
    Foligno Stramel Ohgren
    Faber Brodin
    Chabot? Middleton
    Bogosian Lambos
    Wallstedt
    Would be sick
I tested it in capfriendly before it’s possible 2026 cap gets raised by 12M we are mostly off of Parise Suter contracts we would be a dynasty with a depth and skill like this

@@travzimmerman1340 hold up stay with me here right. Give him the same foundation as Kaprizov when he came into the league with Zuccarello and Hartman. Rossi maybe after fully finding his stride we could trade but if we have the chance to get them all here for 2 years together. Let Yurov play a little below get Rossi up to an all star status. Then trade him for insane amount of return. Then we set for the future we had good center depth for 2 seasons and were entertaining to watch on arguably all 4 lines.

Not reading into any hype. It has been reported Yurov will play centre for your MN Wild. He isn't coming from Canadian Juniors or College, he's playing pro hockey in Russia and f'ing dominating it. You need to get over this mythical 1C nonsense no UFA has any interest in playing MN and Guerin is a f'ing dolt that couldn't land a paper airplane much less a true 1C in trades. Mn only hope for 1C is Yurov. Deal with it.
Guerin had f'ing $20,000,000 to spend and he wasted it on Zucc, Foligno, Hartman, MoJo, Freddy, BoGo, and Fluery. He could've just as easily went after a legit 1C with the majority of that money and brought up prospects in 2025, but he didn't.
Gotta get over the 1C because it isn't happening unless the Wild get lucky in the draft and right now all fingers point to Yurov.
