Fifty Fifty's music is a mixture of indie pop, 80's-90's pop and r&b, which is why they stand out from other 4th gen groups.
I really hope they’ll stick to this genre. This is my type of music

The first Singer is Aran then the second Main Vocalist is Sio. The cutie brunette who raps and had the green shirt is Saena and then the blond one is Keena :)
They don't sound like Newjeans to me more of a older sound. They're so talented I hope they become big.
i wanna say their sound is similar to newjeans cuz it sounds fresh but does not sound similar at all. they are also easy to listen too and easily gets you hooked on the first listen. they really just stand out from what the other 4th gen groups are doing.
I think this group feels more Indie than Newjeans but give off the similar vibe

Both borrows from nostalgia. NewJeans gives more of a younger, fun and cool vibe while FIFTY FIFTY sounds more mature, mellow and dreamy

Fifty Fifty must have a storyline that I'm struggling to understand and express my thoughts because the song was very poppy and sweet
The girl y'all kept mentioning is Aran! She is the maknae and main vocalist :) Sio is the other black haired vocalist (she's in the red jacket). Saena is the cute one in green and she is the main dancer and leader! Keena is the blond and is the main rapper. Fifty Fifty blew me away with their debut album and Cupid is another bop. I'm so excited to see how their lore unfolds. Cupid is supposed to take place before Lovin' Me. They realize they don't need Cupid to give them happiness and learn to love themselves.

Aran that started the music video is so good, the group has a good mix of presence even though saena didn't get much lines she gets to be in the middle of the group in the dances making it a very balanced group! The production team is doing really well and the quality is so good.

From what i know, cupid is prequel to loving me. Since at the end of cupid we can hear loving me instrument.
lately I listen to this song, while listening to this song I cry, cry because of happiness. this song makes me remember my childhood. Because when I was a child I often heard songs like this. I'm grateful to have found this song. They are talented their songs are good I'm sure they will be successful
It's a Single release, so only 1 song (plus its English version & instrumental).
I hope they will continue with this genre. It's so chill as you said, and indeed kinda similar to New Jeans in that aspect. Their sound is different though, but I love both NJ & FF.

I miss this type of music. At least u can hear melody of the song. Instead of a mash up, EDM music which just pain my ear . Some i could mention are 4minute in their late year before disband, stray kids almost all of their song is full of intensity and zero chill. Early bts day, and exo too in their debut days. But towards the end they were more chillin. Having the vibes of retro and rnb. Which i like. All these techo mash up EDM should stop ruining kpop. Musician such as teddy love these concept. Its like 6-7 song being mash together.good god

In general they have thicker vocals, and as a group as a whole, noticeably strong.
But in terms of marketing muscle and visuals, new jeans definitely far ahead

I think they are basically saying they have the same vibes. Both give a nostalgic feeling, newjeans has that mellow, fun sound. While fifty fifty gives a fresh, nostalgic, warm feeling.

I think the reason why they sound like Newjeans is because it sounded like a b-side? I think that's how Newjeans sound, all of their songs including their comeback track sounds like a b-side(y'know, it sounds like something that's not trying hard to be the next big song but it turns out to be great)
