Claire de Lune (electric) - Arr. for guitar

This is the arrangement for classical guitar by J. Bishops-Edwards, which I recorded previously on classical guitar, but I thought it would be fun to show how it sounds on the electric guitar. In this case, my old 1957 Gibson ES-125 which I haven't played in ages...
Amplifiers: 1957 Gibson GA9 (with a vintage VOX Blue Alnico speaker) and 2000 Gibson Super Goldtone GA30RV (with a Weber Silver Bell Alnico speaker + Celestion Vintage 10).

Very true! This was just an impromptu recording really. I haven’t played this guitar in ages and was remembering how to play this piece so kept playing on this guitar and the sound was nice. Of course I still prefer my recording on the Thames guitar, but it was cool nonetheless. Hope you had a beautiful Christmas holiday!
