- Mike flew out to NYC for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ reveal. The new Cadillac Escalade IQ is estimated to start at $130,000 USD and will go on sale in 2025. The Escalade IQ has a 200kWh battery which should get you a range of 450 miles (724 kms) on a single charge. Would you buy this over the Hummer EV?

I was just thinking the same thing. He says too many weird things about *gm* to think _Cadillac_ would ever invite him to something as serious as this. Maybe they haven’t got wind of it. He made a silly comment about their nomenclature before, and he just did it again in this video calling it weird that they didn’t call it the “Escaladeiq”. Why would they? What in the world is a “Escaladeiq” anyway? Smh 🤦🏽♂️

Nobody is waiting 10 years for a Hummer. You haven’t heard that from anyone who would have any idea of a realistic wait time. *gm* will have another battery factory online by next year and I can’t imagine anyone waiting longer than 2-3 years at the very maximum.
Also not sure what your issue is with the Lyriq. It looks amazing around the back to me, one of the best angles of the vehicle. People are so used to boring same ole designs, that’s another reason I appreciate the unique styling of the Celestiq and Lyriq. The Escalade _IQ_ fits right in. This design language is like nothing else on the road but it isn’t overdone at all. Interiors are perfect, they’ve hit the sweet spot!

While the 2025 Escalade IQ has transitioned to electric power, I think Cadillac overlooked the chance to substantially revamp the conventional SUV design in favor of a sleeker and more futuristic aesthetic.

No one will have to wait 10 years for a Hummer EV. GM will ramp up production. Mike seems kinda excited for this EV after he said a couple of months ago he wanted to blow up the EV revolution and go back to ICE cars.

First of all, the hummer is way too expensive. Once the hummer came on the market (2017) I bought one for $45000 fully equipped. Now they ask $155000 for the electric one, why?
The Cadillac, not only is more stylish, but it is more affordable, twenty thousand dollars ($20000) less than the hummer. In addition, Cadillac has a better reputation than the hummer.
In fact, the hummer occupied a good position among the international luxurious brands but behind the Cadillac SUV, especially the Cadillac ev.

Yup! Definitely the best electric SUV so far. But if you plan on getting one my advice is if you're not among the first batch of orders don't bother buying new cus you will WAIT!!!!! for God knows how long lmao. Just chill till it starts hitting the resale market. But if you get in the first set of orders then good luck to you

Cadillac truly nailed it with their latest design. The front of the car looks incredible, and the back is just as stunning. Inside, the luxurious interior is sure to meet even the most refined tastes but I would prefer all gas.

YES, Mike brought back "the meat and potatoes"! We haven't heard that in a hot minute. Now, I'm not going to lie I am very shocked at the comments here. Seems like a lot of positive feedback on design.
I f$cking hate the styling of this SUV. To me the front looks like a Hyundai hybrid between a Kia. The steering wheel makes me sick, and I'm really not sure what to think about the dash screen being across the whole cockpit. The speaker set is obviously going to be amazing so I've got to through them a bone on that. Interior looks luxurious for sure; maybe a lot better in a dark or a black colour.

For $130K starting price, it should have flush door handles instead of those ugly, bulky ones. Even the Lyriq has flush ones. Might as well go for the Range Rover EV which is forthcoming as well.
