hey man i recently found your channel after buying a honda bros 400 and looking for people working on them and i came across your entire restoration project, i was wanting to ask looking back on that project how was it in terms of difficulty? im looking to turn mine into a streetfighter/cafe racer once i have the time
I usually do pure restorations so modifications are not the norm for me. Bikes are quite compact, so usually everything has a dual use. If you change the front mudguard, then you need to figure out how to mount the brake line. If you change the handlebar height, then you need to alter all the lines as they will be too short or too long. If you change the exhaust then there is no stopper for the centre stand. You see what I am getting at, every part has a knock on that you may not consider initially. Other thing to consider is cost, it’s really expensive to modify. Lastly insurance, if you build a Frankenstein then you might not be able to insure it, or sell it as no one wants to pay what it’s worth. Hope this helps

@@thvulcan9390 ah yeah, it’s nice to play around. The headlamp has a secondary role, it houses all the cabling, so keep that in mind. And the seat is quite obvious. Good luck with you build.

there's no way you're getting 12 horsepower out of one of these engines you're not even probably going to get seven horsepower
