@@user-os3md9wo2qno clearly you don’t want to face how Barkley never lived up to his draft day expectations. DJ already outplayed his initial draft day disappointment. You need to take a reality check. The only way Barkley is getting a gold jacket is he buys his own or start selling real estate or renting cars. 25-48-1 when he can get on the field. Closing in on 30 & disappears when needed. What was your point again?

He’s a good back. But we never should’ve drafted him. He’s going to be a lot more effective on the Eagles with that O line and the other weapons they have. He’s a finishing piece in today’s NFL. Dave Gettleman drafted him thinking it was still the eighties where you build an offense around a running back.

Great breakdown Just subbed. I'm 48 and a lifelong Giants fan. Only thing id say you wanna reconsider your opinions on, is that John Mara is not the puppy dog and Shoen is the Boss. Not even close. If Shoen doesn't get more wins he's gone. Mara still counts a Billion in the bank. Shoen so far is a failure as a Giant. Shoen seems verrrry cocky. Not sure its a good luck tbh. Winning will change my mind

The second round pick is close to a first round pick … so let’s say Carolina wanted a first round pick and a cherry on top perhaps a 1st and 6th …
So an almost 1st pick (ie very good 2nd) and a 5th makes sense for both

The hiring of Shane by Daboll was typical …Shane reports to Daboll so it is Dabolls hire.
But just as in any business once Daboll vets who he would like to hire he runs it by his boss to get his input and see if there are any objections.

Sure, but the Eagles ALREADY have 2 big-threat WRs to throw to. Barkley won't be getting 30 - 40 touches a game. In a passing league, a "star" RB is a luxury piece...and the Eagles could afford it with the other pieces in place.

But was forgotten about with national media one the playoffs got rolling. The beginning of the 2024 season hadn’t started when they all got fired or quit. So why would anyone expect to have that footage. Like true NY fans, they rather hear about drama with the team. They want to hear how bad there QB is how we should’ve kept an aging RB that fans thought he shouldn’t have been picked when he was picked, how our coach and GM may get fired if we don’t have a winning season.
