Slide Mountain to Wanless Overlook?

I went out in search of some great viewpoints, but I was never able to reach them. Plus it was too overcast anyways.
I had planned out a route out to the west of McMinnville, Oregon through some Weyerhaeuser land and into the BML land. But as is often the case in the privately held lands in Oregon there were locked gates in the way. I was still able to get and see the beautiful forest.
Without the views it's probably not worth going back up there. There are too many other opportunities in the area.
