mushroom eaj cool! Ok this question may seem a little off topic but would it be considered offensive if a person wanted to get into/adopt beliefs of Norse paganism without having any north Germanic heritage? I’ve taken an interest to it but I don’t want to seem disrespectful towards it.

My cat of 11 1/2 years died last night. She was an outdoor cat, but slept inside. Her name was princess, and her brother was Luke. (After Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker) Luke died a long time ago and since then she’s been mostly alone besides my family. We live in the woods, and bird song is the sound of home. I found this song as soon as it came out, but only after her passing does it mean something new. Now when I hear this, I imagine this is what she hears in heaven as well. The comforting chorus of home, with her brother, in the sun. I hope she remembers our moments laying in the grass together, warm and happy. Listening to the birds. She really did have to go in august. To my beautiful, sweet sweet girl. I love you forever and always. I can’t wait to see you again.

Every time I get a panic attack, I listen to this song. And time and time again, without failure, it comes as a comfort. Theres something with how soft he sings, how you can hear him inhaling, or that you can hear him softly pronounce the T at the end the “I must” part.
It feels like you’re sitting with him, that you’re in the forest and the nature around you, and the fresh air just tells you that everything’s going to be okay, and for once, you believe it.

    Stop. Imagine this.
You're strolling through the forest, the untamed grass brushing your ankles. Birds sing around you, and leaves fall onto your shoulders and around you as squirrels leap from branch to branch. You stop for a moment and sit on a stump, feeling your legs throb a bit from the soreness. You look around. Ahead of you, there's a deer stalking through the thicket, the sunlight seeping onto it's pelt. You smile as it looks at you, and eventually it builds up the courage to take quite few steps forward. You open your mouth and sing. The birds overhead stop for a moment, and the world goes silent as you sing to the deer. Then, they open their beaks and sing along.

I could keep this on repeat forever.cause I have that positive vibes with this song and I'm connected with the song. He sings about spring, summer and the beginning of fall.
April - the bird starts singing
May - the bird sings night and day to express the transitioning of spring into summer
June - the bird changes his tune to something more expressive and soft and mellow
July - the seasons start the transition of summer into fall so the bird flys far of to find a shelter for the beggining of winter soon to come and to make preparationsfor hibernation
August - the bird waits for winter's start so it can finish gathering food and other resources it may need
Yes I got all that from this song. I also had a little help from my imagination. I hop this gets alot of likes. Although I doubt it.

This has an early spring morning feel to it. When there's still dew on the grass and the sun has barely risen. There's a coolness in the air and a slight breeze that comes with it.

Heavens, what a great notification! I love how Cosmo puts his feelings, love and dedication into his musics, and making a song in honor of nature is too beautiful and appreciable. It is simply magnificent. You enter in the atmosphere, you feel on your skin and listen to it with your soul, it is so calm and pure that I am really impressed by such genius, because this is something magical and it is rare for anyone to be able to convey all these harmonious sensations, it's unique. I really deeply appreciate your work. You are an incredible person. Thank you for sharing your work with us. What a greatful songwriter you are!!! 💕

I just started listening to your music a few months ago after finding Come Along randomly suggested and LOVING the sinister fairie ritual vibe that few songs really capture. I was shuffling your songs on spotify today and this song came on, and my jaw immediately dropped and I started to tear up. I'm a huge Wes Anderson fan and the choral version in Moonrise Kingdom is a favorite track of mine used in his movies' soundtracks, and im a songwriter myself and I incorporate field recordings into my music as well. Hearing your version of this song with the field recordings is just incredible and inspiring in your technique. Officially a big fan now.
