They look great all together like that, and I agree they get to be pretty fiddly when at that scale. Legands scale is my jam, but I'll be happy to pose these and call it done for a while.
Objectively, you're pretty spot on as always with any qualms. They can definitely be fiddly for those of us with bigger mitts. Personally, they're not going to be sitting in tape mode on my shelf so no big loss in my book with Frenzy, Rumble, and Ravage just being folded up squares in alt mode. All 3 of them make up for it in robot mode look and posability including Ravage. I can get him into some pretty cool crouches and poses all things considered here. I'm a big legends collector and I don't see anyone else doing these guys better than what MS has for us here so I'm pretty satisfied with these.

They look nice, they make me wish for a third party Ravage compatible with Siege and Earthrise Soundwave, I really don't like that mold they used for him. Most of what I've found are either too big, too thick or too small.
This is an interesting review... never thought I'd be interested in Sausage Fingers as a product...
The magnets are meant to insert into the feet of both their Soundwave and soundblaster

@@diyenn7853 my best guess is that it is for stability if you wanted to display him on a magnetic surface, especially with cassettes mounted on his arm, also they are strong enough to hold him upside down on a lot of things

I love the rumble that came with Soundwave but I do consider them ACCESSORIES as opposed to characters. They’re so fiddly and itty bitty that it becomes difficult to pose and such. Interested in seeing newage’s take on Soundwave and his buddies
The only reason why I got these and a few other Legends scale 3P TF's is to display them with my TF Titan Class Metroplex, Fort Max, Scorponok, Omega Supreme, and Trypticon. I think they look a bit better scale-wise. Given their small size, hey're not all that fun to play around with. That's just me, though.

I think those magnets might for the Megatron that was supposed to come with magnets and didn't. I think between these things transforming into squares, their questionable Seekers, Soundwave's alt-mode being so weak, Laserbeak not being available outside of Soundblaster, AND them not sending the light-up effect/magnets they advertised with Megs it may be time for me to give up on Magic Square... If they ever do a Perceptor and Newage doesn't, I'll get it to complete my "Child's Play" cast but I think I need to be done otherwise.... These things are too expensive to have such a string of disappointments...

I love Cassettebots and cons, and these are no exception. My only gripe with Ravage is that his abdomen is loose and and makes posing him a little tough, but I still love that little cat. And, getting RatBat to hang off of my Soundblaster was a bit of a challenge, too. Still, those are relatively minor issues with an otherwise amazing set...
Besides the fact that they bought NOCV’s ShapeWays files for his Rumble/Frenzy and mass produced them without giving him due credit and, more importantly, a fair licensing fee. It’s nice, of course, to see them made with injection molding rather than additive printing, but it’s still a disappointing turn, all the same.
Well covered review, I think these are just too small but I look forward to seeing your MS doomsday (Megatron) if you get hold of one as its a super clean toon look plenty of nostalgic accessories where as these just too small to convince and give off that toon vibe.
Would love to see their factory full of workers with tiny fingers that put these figs together!! Wouldn’t that be something?!
