Honestly, I think what makes this a really good scouting video is the pace. You arnt blowing by us viewers along with helping with a visual. Showing what it takes to breakdown a spot. You slowed down and spent all your time in and around this hub to really figure it out. Not just mark it with first sign, guesses, then seek more ground. I think that makes for a great scouting effort and planning!

I always have a turkey call on me for entering for evening hunts. Turkey are very loud add some Turkey sounds as your walking especially if your breaking twigs, and that should calm things down. Has worked for me many times.

Awesome video. Good to see other folks finding bedding in lower third in some places because of whatever it is. Trust what you are seeing and scouting not what you want to see or where you hoped bucks would be.

I agree. I hunt the WV Allegheny Front with drastic elevation, and without a doubt, sound is your number one enemy. A snap of a twig, one clang of your gear, and you might as well turn around and go back to your truck.

Hi Jake I heard you on the exodus podcast talking about late season hunts. I think this would meet your needs for the sleeping bag/ hunting suit. I’ve sat all day in sub 20’s with this and been find. Good luck and hope it helps. “IWOM Insulated Hunting Suits”

I think the important scrapes are in the lowlands because it holds the scent better. Even though I've seen as many up higher. I think the scent dissipates quicker

Killed plenty of deer over chestnut Oaks early in northeast Georgia. They tend to drop before white oak and reds here. Great video guys

They did change! We started the day in that first hub and then worked a few miles back into a different hub system. We hike roughly 15 miles that day. I really appreciate you watching the video!

I know there are some natural born hunters out there. That said I have to pause a bit when I hear young guys speak so confidently about what they believe. They will watch this twenty years from now a cringe…
