- Does SpaceX ever stop?! Maybe when a hurricane hits.. But a tropical storm doesn't even seem to slow them down! Watch as John traverses flooded roads, lots of rain and some epic winds photographing Starbase!

The videos and pictures in 4K resolution are breathtakingly clear. I am concerned about the potential storm surge and I hope that SpaceX has installed and activated the surge wall for this. As for the pad construction, it's going to be messy and muddy, and it will take some time for the water to seep into the ground because the water table is so high in that area. Great job, guys!. I fully agree. Better to build a "sea wall" now around the launch site, then to have all that infrastructure suffer from salt water immersion damage. Oh and don't forget pumps with their own elevated generators to power them, to remove the deluge of rainwater a hurricane will dump into that area whilst everyone is in the hurricane shelters kilometers inland.

@@eharris3021 okay, electronic music has changed a lot over the years. But this is extremely reminiscent of late 90s techno, alcohol and ecstasy tends to f*** with your memory. Like I said, I don't miss those days

I used to have my radar back a year and i saw on the other WAI channel sposor of it ,it warned me that there is a cyclone in the gulf of mexico , i looked for starbase live and it was raining , any way thanks for positing these amazing pictures
please use a car wash to wash the complete underside of your vehicle asap after driving through the salt-water.

@@johnrday2023 I find these informative in a non verbal way. Vid's like this can draw people to the main channel for WAI's weekly updates. So "entertaining" can also be education at the same time.
