      The Harman family God bless you on your journey for truth. Here is a great video for you of Tim explaining the verses that disprove “faith alone”. Peace be with you.

      I know it must be really hard to believe other things of what you have been teach. But I encourage you to challenge yourself and your faith alone with according with the scriptures if you really want to come to the knowledge of the truth. God bless you.

    I like how Tim Staples basically teaches the teaching, history and understanding behind Catholicism. I tried to watch another informational video on something else and I was expecting this extremely in-depth explanation to this other thing, but it was just overall unsatisfying. Love Catholic Answers!

      So true-As much as i lv the Eucharist-I love confession so much too cause i feel "cleaner" afterwards, weras with the Eucharist we are totally walking by faith & the senses play no part-I can enjoy it as much as the senses allow

    As a Protestant I believe in the Eucharist- if it’s truly the body and blood of Christ - why can’t any believer partake? I can’t imagine Jesus withholding Himself from us. Thoughts? My Catholic friends?

      One must receive the sacrament of confession first so as not to profane the body of Christ in the Eucharist. Discernment of the truth of the Eucharist through the Catholic Church is it's responsibility to you.

    The marriage analogy and the physical consummation is great. It was foreshadowed in Judaism when a woman had to bath in the mikvah under certain circumstances to become ritually pure again before she could resume sexual relations with her husband or participate in certain Jewish festivals. Men also had to bath in the mikvah under certain circumstances in order to be able to participate in certain Jewish festivals.
    It's akin to Catholics having to go to confession if they are aware they have committed a serious sin before they receive Christ in the Eucharist.
    It also supports the Catholic doctrine of purgatory, in that we have to be cleaned of all imperfections before we can be united with God in heaven, and become partakers of the divine nature(2Peter1:4).

    Why is this only 42 minutes long?

    It is an edited video, supporting only corrupt Catholic view. Are you spiritual canibalist?

    • @zanyah0
      @zanyah0 Před 5 lety +5

      Spiritual cannibalism, really? what a weird comparison, as the term you use for cannibalism applies only when they are the very same species. Are you comparing human beings to be equal with the sacramental body of Jesus Christ? and even worse how can an spirit eat another spirit if there is no matter?.... ???

      funny thing is that in the first century the romans were also calling the christians canibals. which pointsto thefact that thechristians were believing way back then that it was really the body and blood. which is a problem for me because at the moment im protestant..

      How can Catholics be canabils when it's Jesus resurrected body blood soul and divinity???????
