The man is a legend. He died way too soon. "Faith" and "Father Figure" are other iconic songs of his solo career. Definitely check out his days in "Wham!", before he went solo.
Please listen to Donât Let the Sun Go Down on Me by George Michael and Elton John. Itâs Eltonâs song but George redid it. The live version is AMAAAZINGâŠto hear people sing live like that is a blessing â€ïž Also, Father Figure by George Michael and he did one with Aretha Franklin titled, I Knew You were WaitingâŠEnjoy đ
I 2nd Donât Let the Sun Go Down on Me by George Michael & Elton John! FIREâŒïžđ„
Please Please Please!! Such an epic performance!
He wrote this song when he was 16. What kind of 16 year old is that deep? One of my favourite song of all times.
AB, this man is a LEGEND. He was , is , and will always be my 1st crush! He was an international superstar! I think you'd really enjoy his jazzy stuff, like " Kissing A Fool". He did a legendary duet with the original Queen Bee herself, Aretha Franklin, " I Knew You Were Waiting For Me". I can't sing enough praise about this man. I cried when he passed away on Christmas day, 2016. It was his favorite holiday. And ironically, he has a song with his group called " Wham" before he went solo, titled " Last Christmas ". It's beautiful! RIP GEORGE!!đ«đ«đ«
I love George Michael!! He did "Somebody To Love" with Queen at Freddie Mercury's tribute, it's fantastic. "A Different Corner", "One More Try", "Kissing A Fool", "Praying for Time", fabulous songs.
I love his version of Somebody to Love.
@@shunlvswx me too! Also his version of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down".
@@jag03ljg I love that song too.
George's vocals are INSANE. He's one of the best male vocalists of our time. Please check out One More Try - and Praying for Time. My two favourite George songs. Sung with SO much heart and so much passion. Both worth a listen.
I am so surprised that you do not know him. George Michael is a legend! He has a lot of popular songs and several concerts all around the globe since the 80's until his last concert in 2012. He has appeared in a lot of American music award shows and has performed with Stevie Wonder , Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and several others in one tribute program. In Great Britain he was the biggest artist and has performed in shows and benefit concerts with Princess Diana in the audience . These are my memories being a fan since my high school days. And I am very sure there is a lot more to know in written about George Michael. I cried and I was in deep sorrow when he passed away on Christmas season. Thank you for your reaction.
In his book George admits writing this song, while on a city bus. He was young and was seeing a girl, but then he started seeing another girl-so he cheated and felt guilty about it. George then wrote the entire song on a bus ride. He was 17, and best friends with Andrew Ridgley (possibly spelled wrong) and later in the 1980's became the pop group Wham. I'm older so I remember them well LOL Later in the 1990's George would confirm his sexuality even though most knew he was openly gay he just never confirmed it publicly before that interview. He was so talented, just raw pure talent.
George Michael and Aretha Franklin also had a huge duet in the 80s, I Knew You Were Waiting.
He was just a kid when he wrote this, too. BEYOND talented
I miss George Michael! This is one of my favorite songs of his.
Iâm 62 now and this song came out in 1984 when I was 23.Oh how I love this song. How time does fly.
Seriously, the first time hearing George Michael????!! Careless Whisper is like one of top 10 ever slow jams. Wowđ€
One of the greatest voices of the 80's and early 90's. Insanely talented and grossly underrated. George did a series of duets, fire duets, with other artists, including Elton John and Aretha Franklin. He was taken away far too soon.
Played the hell out this song back in the day.
He was a legendary singer. RIP
Oh yes dig more into George Michael. He is an icon for sure. So many great hits and duets with legends.
Ooooohh âFather Figureâ is the bees knees!!!
Thanks for this. Can't believe you didn't know it though!! George Michael is a complete legend .Amazing singer and songwriter. Too many to mention- Different Corner, One More Try, Praying for Time, Waiting For That Day, Jesus to a Child, not to mention his collaborations and other covers. RIP
*Three of my favorite George Michael songs are lesser known despite incredible lyrics and production: "A Different Corner," "Cowboys and Angels," "Mothers' Pride." Legend!*
Legend, gone too soon. RiP the late, great George Michael đđ„°đ
Legend!! I adore this man his voice was butter and could always make you feel things if you know what I mean!
One of my favourite songs from George Michael at my teen age...time flew so fast.
This is my favorite George Michael/Wham. I had this song as a ringtone for many years. RIP George.
You should hear some of his stuff from his Wham days
Straight classic & timeless
One of the greats. RIP way too soon.â€ïž
This was played in Deadpool 2 a lot!
Wow how humble
He is do missed. Genius performer. Check out the song Everything She Wants from his duo/group Wham. Song is beyond fire.
This song takes me back. Great bass line and definitely some Marvin Gaye âLetâs Get it Onâ vibes ⊠which is what got him in trouble đ Just blame the sax đ·
He had an amazing voice and a lot of soul. A Brit with a heart of Motown.
George sang Somebody to Love at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert and it is so good.
and he sang his own stuff and it was so good.
3:30 - âThey heard that saxophone.â đđ€Łđ€Ł
George Michaels has got some serious swagger going for him. He and Elton John did some songs together that were Straight up fire đ„ Here's a live performance of them singing together "George Michael, Elton John - Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me (Live)" Nice reaction, AB thanks for sharing
Although George is lead singer on this song, it was actually recorded as the duo called Wham!, which is the duo that made George Michael famous. There were several hits by Wham! before they parted ways and George embarked on his very successful solo career. Try the song by Wham! called Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
I knew the "bad girl" in this video, in real life she was anything but, a real sweetheart and also gone way too soon. RIP Madeline Andrews 2012.
He started off as part of the duet, "WHAM". He and Andrew Rigley were awesome together.
Crazy I was just talking with my coworker about how great George Michael was. Flipped on my CZcams app and this is the first thing in my notifications!
Lol so the sax is fire but the Gen Z kpop fans have a sample of it played badly on a plastic recorder, the kind you learned in school for no reason, and they sample it on every kpop crack vid so now I canât unhear it. đ€Ł
Most his music is sexy! I love a saxophone đ· đ you should check out George Michael and Aretha Franklin " I knew you were waiting " AND George Michael & Elton John " Don't let the sun go down "
Wham was my boyband when I was a teen in the 80's
People have told you about his band wham and his solo career.
He also played matchmaker for one of his backing singers Shirley and guitarist Martin kemp from Duran Duran.they're still together after 37 yrs and we're just unmasked on UK masked singer which they did to prank their son.
George was also in band aid and has a Christmas song (last Christmas) that is played every Christmas.
such a legend. He died the same year as Prince, if I remember correctly. Check out his music with WHAM. You should also check out a cover of this song by Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour. It'll blow your mind.
All the 80s romantic movies over did the use of this intro soooo much it was EVRYWHERE ..
Love the collaboration of Mary J Blige and George Michaels on the Stevie Wonder song "As". đ
Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go!! That was the first single from Wham! The shirts in the video everybody started buying them including myself and best friend in high school. We had a talent show one year wore the shirts and lip synced the song! It was so much fun. They were my favorite band back then. â€â€
Wham had several hits before Wake Me Up Before You Go Go eg Wham Rap, Bad Boys, Club Tropicana.
George Michael has an impressive solo catalog of hits, but he was also in a duo called Wham! When this song came out, everyone realized George was going to go solo. Wham's hits are often silly, but check out Everything She Wants. That one is legit good.
If you've seen Deapool, you have heard it before. He specifically mentioned the song and held up a vinyl album of Wham! Make it Big.
What a crack up, when you said "she's gone player".
Love George Michaels. Noone can sing like him....but Seether does an awesome remake of this song!
Freddie Mercury said in an interview that wished he had written this song. Itâs such a beautiful, sad song. And George wrote it as a teenager!
This is why I learned to play sax in middle school
This is a George Michael song from the 1980s. Kenny G did a instrumental of the song in the early 2000s.
A beautiful song.
I love this song. â€đ¶â€đ¶đč
âOne More Tryâ very good one also.
Momma always had MTV on during the day so I would literally jam out with the đ· on my air saxophone it was awesome đ
Love him amazing singer fait father figure different corners so much song thank you
Do more George! RIP he is missed.
Allen Stone âFreedomâ from the rooftop live - anything he does is dope but this joint is crazy
Oh my goodness!! Yaaay!! Iâm so excited. Iâve been waiting on this!! I really donât comment much but yes! My favorite reactor to my favorite singer â€ïž #JesusSaves
George Michael is soo good! Everything he did was just... * chef's kiss * I was born in the early 90's, there's just something about a saxophone that gives me endless chills! Kenny G has been in my playlist for my entire life lool
This song is definitely an earworm especially with that saxophone. Also, if you just want to hear the saxophone part, look up Sexy Saxman on YT.
I was a Jr. High saxophone player when this song was released, and taught myself how to play that sax solo.
you should check out his tunes from the "Listen Without Prejudice" and "Older" period.
Masterpiece
Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Faith, Father Figure, and Freedom are 4 of my faves! I Want Your Sex is a controversial one that he put out. There were news stories and parents freaking out over it! đ
The blond singer is not Gearge Michael; this is a Wham! song, and they were a duet. The blond boy is Andrew Ridgely.
I could tell 5 seconds in that you already liked the song. You were doing that chair dance again.
I broke many a boys teen heart and this song fits.đđđ
emotional total
Yes check him at the Freddie Mercury's tribute concert.
He wrote this with Andy when they were 17! The vocal melody isn't much different from that version. Pure talent that was boxed in to being a Pop Star. George Michael is up there with the top song writers. He had to hire 7 different sax players to get the sound he wanted! he was also a hell of a music producer.
Love George Michael. You should listen to "Freedom" or "Faith"
Thank you! I was about to comment why is no one talking about Freedom?! đ
Formerly, the lead singer to WHAM!, so any song is gonna be awesomeness.
It was the heartbreak of every '80's teenage girl when he came out....... I being one of them.....
(And up vote to the Elton/George duet of Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me, as it is my preferred rendition as wll)
đđđ„
Check out, "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me"...great song!
Legend, RIP George â€ïž, react to George Michael " where did your heart go" .
The breakup song of my high school senior year
I scanned through a bunch of comments and didn't see any mention of his version of Roxanne, originally performed by The Police (lead singer, Sting). I like both versions but George Michael's really opened my eyes to his talent. It's quite different from the original with more of a jazz influence. I loved how the video put the prostitutes front and center and didn't denigrate them in any way.
I love A Different Corner, kissing a fool, I can't make you love me, and one more try
Also check out the song freedom.
Great reaction! Thanks for keeping great music alive!
Seriously, your channel can totally make my day better!
His reactions are priceless!
đ¶đ„đ„đ„đ„đ¶đ¶đŻ
Faith and Freedom are the two songs you should always start with.
you are correct in guessing that Kenny G played this song on Sax but Michael was the original singer/writer of this
â„â„â„
George hat the Best voice ever, beside Freddy.
You need to checkout his 4 duet videos with Mary J Blige, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Mariah Cary
Faith and freedom are other huge recommendations from George
Elvis always my favorite and love George also. You should check out One More Try official video and Somebody to Love with Queen at a tribute concert for Freddy Mercury
If a ken doll from 1989 came to life it would be GM
AB Them Jacksonville boys are going to be treated to a fine Kansas City winter welcome Saturday. How do you think they are going to like it? Them Florida folks think 60 is freezing LoL! Cats don't like âđšâ â€đâ€
Grandpas never die
Please do "Killer- Papa was a rolling stone". Real swag đ
I 2nd Donât Let the Sun Go Down on Me by George Michael & Elton John! FIREâŒïžđ„
Hey Ab ,today is Dolly Pardon's birthday đ
Freedom was a good one! Heck...all his music is good!! When he was in WHAM!! All good songs!
Btw... your "We are the world" reaction , is my favorite reaction video of all reaction videos ever
AB my man! All of your reactions are so on point love your dance moves and your voice and your vibe! Could you please do George Michael with Elton John it will blow your mind 2 Legends working together
React to Garth Brooks - Unanswer prayers! That song gets to me all the time! One of his most underated songs ever. So pure!!
