I remember I was on the way home from college, a 5hr.drive, when I heard the news of eazy's passing. I had to pull over for a while and still cried the rest of the way home. If it wasn't for the music and antics of easy-e, I wouldn't have been able to cope with things like I did. I had a problematic youth, and it was Easy who helped me through the tough times and ultimately kept me from committing suicide on several occasions. He literally saved my life and for that and the musical gift he gave this world, I'm forever a grateful fan. Rest In Peace ,Easy. Thank you for everything!

Eric was a real humble dude! had the chance to meet him back in 88 or 89 backstage at the atlanta civic center! I remember i was surprised they had catered food backstage, Eric was like "yeah man you can't be eating all that fast food garbage while you on tour! ofcourse he offered, i declined but my cousin made a plate! fame did'nt faze"E" I will always remember his hospitality!

I remember this day like it was yesterday. My daughter was born April 6 eazy-e funeral was April 7 I was at the hospital the day eazy-e went unconscious I remember everyone running around the hospital it was crazy outside looking out the window. The day he passed away just heart braking.

I have the curiosity of visiting his grave the day of his birthday just in case i run into ice cube or any other of his close ones. My dad has worked in Rose Hills Memorial Park for so many years and was the one who told me he was burried there, we literally live like 10 minutes away from the cemetery so we go visit Eric every now and then to pay our respects.
