You have a point tho. Eazy has been dead for quite a long time. Ur joke had some humor to it ngl, but I just found Eazy death sad.
@@IanDaGoat07 Eazy been dead for 20 years all you gen z boy just heard of him because this lame film
@@adambrown8635 who says I just heard of him? It’s just some of us didn’t know when he died or didn’t watch the movie. And this movie portrays a beautiful scene with him. It’s gives us a good idea of how he died to the people who didn’t know.
Edit: after a moment of consideration, I have now realized that they did not make Eazy like who he really was. They could’ve done better
HIV is now very treatable. Someone diagnosed at 18 has a life expectancy of 65. That's beautiful and I pray cancer becomes the same.
Amen
No a FULL normal life. SORRY to correct you
Still not a good thing to be infected with it
Obviously it was treatable back then too if magic Johnson is still alive
Let’s pray that will be the same for cancer.
The fact that Eazy-E thought aids was treatable just breaks my heart
Unfortunately at that time it wasn’t treatable. Nowadays HIV patients take one little pill a day and visit a doctor maybe 2 or 3 times a year, some further care is needed for AIDS patients in particular but HIV is no longer a death sentence. We’ve even had 5 people cured of the disease completely via stem cell transplants in which the stem cell donors had rare genetic mutation that causes an immunity to HIV. The cure it out there, and it’s been the goal of many medial communities to find it by 2030.
And his wife was pregnant 😢😭💔
Yo Magic Johnson-1991- M J was alive in 96 when Ez E got it.
Ez E didn’t know it cost $500,000 for a blood transfusion to remove the HIV like Earvin did to hisself

Imagine how a doctor must feel having to tell someone is terminal and there's nothing that can be done.
Not an easy job
And that actor did an amazing job showing that difficulty
It's part of our job. I wont lie, it's not pleasant, but it's what we do. We doctors may seem cold and distant at times, but remember, after telling the mother that her one and a half year old drowned in the pool and couldn't be saved (something I have done) we have to go back out there and attend to the guy with the 1 month case of athlete's foot. We can't afford to let ourselves feel every death as much as we would normally. If we did, our rates of mental illness, burnout and suicide would be even higher than they are now.

This reminds me when I was diagnosed with stage 3C testicular cancer which had spread very aggressively in my body and I almost lost my life to it, the scene when the doctor told him they can’t do anything is almost traumatizing, my group of oncologists had told me that I wasn’t going to live past a year and that I would likely die during surgery; you get the most overwhelming feeling of disparity. It feels like it was almost like a dream, everyday felt like my last. I never wish that on my worst enemy. it’s been 5 years and I’m still around today.
How are you doing today?
God bless you, keep fighting brave soul!
Hell yeah. Glad you're still with us man.
Cancer can fuck off.
Damn your testicles were black or somethin 💀
Patrick, you can beat cancer naturally, but you have to really discipline yourself. Black seed oil can cure just about anything, including cancer. Also, eat a healthy diet of raw fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water with lemon or lime. Stay away from bread, sugar, and processed foods. Drink natural fruit juices, preferably using a blender. The foods we eat have a lot of pesticides, arsenic and other chemicals. If you do a complete fast or detox for 30, 60, or 90 days, with nothing but raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, and lemon water, also take black seed oil, your body will cleanse and heal itself. PLEASE try it. And while doing so, and always...PRAY and thank God in advance for your healing. Be strong and trust the process. Wishing you healing, peace, and strength!!! ❤ 🙏
Eazy was an example of how the African American community never thought HIV would've affected them because many thought it was a "gay disease", then it did. The positive out of this tragedy was that many started getting tested and becoming aware it could affect them. Eazy truly saved lives..

@Nectar Nek not so much. The Ryan White Care Act was introduced, and around that time new medicines were coming out. It’s just he found out when his immune system was completely decimated to where no possible medical intervention could have saved him.

This is superb acting. It's both chilling and heartbreaking to watch.

I am 30 right now, the same age Easy-E was when he was diagnosed and died. I am a father. I am a husband. Regardless of whether you loved his music or hated it, imagine being 30 and suddenly be facing your death. To be a father. A husband. And to suddenly know that you were going to not be there to see your kids grow up. Or grow old with your wife. And knowing that within 10-15 years, he would have walked out of that hospital and lived a full life due to medical advancement into the treatment of HIV. So tragic.
That seems to be how it is with any new disease. It always kills a large percentage of its first victims. Then, as time goes on, we learn new treatments and sometimes even cures.
This is the cost of living a reckless life. I feel sorry for the kids/babies who caught HIV/AIDS via blood transfusions and breast milk - not an arrogant misogynist rapper who cheated on his pregnant gf with what he described as “bitches and hoes”. Play stupid games you win stupid prizes.
@@purposepit7473 agreed, while i feel bad for him somewhat especially his wife and unborn child, ultimately he made his choice and that choice was cheating and living recklessly
Yea it's sad but it's not like HIV just entered his bloodstream out of nowhere. Choices have consequences.
@@napalmsf The point behind this is that he only died because it was early on in the disease, and how tragic that was. Now, people with HIV live long, full lives, without even progressing to AIDS. We've come a long way. I just...I can't imagine being in his shoes. I now that he did this to himself, but like, to suddenly realize that you're not gonna get to see your kids grow up. That would be the biggest one for me.
His security guard is devastated. 😔
The first time I watched this movie, I hardly knew anything about Easy E and the NWA. I heard the songs from my older brother but never knew the history. Watching this made me understand everything and during this scene when they delivered this news - I felt so bad for him. I can't begin to imagine going to the doctor only for them to tell me I got 6 months - that's my worst nightmare. I can't imagine how Easy E felt in his last months - having this virus no one hardly knew anything about at the time.
This is one of the saddest scenes I’ve ever seen in a movie. When he said “what do you mean comfortable?!” The way he said it. That terror. That pain.
I do not mean y try o sound slow but what does the doctor really mean by comfortable?
@@henriwaynei128 he means with as little pain as possible while he’s dying. He has at the most six months to live in this scene. Palliative care is basically hospice.
Yes, the way Easy says that makes me bawl too. I work with cancer patients, and see a lot of death. Whether it's cancer or HIV/AIDS, terminal illness is never nice. R.I.P Easy E.

As a person with HIV I saw many movies and shows portraying HIV-related stories. I must say that this scene is probably the best one and more realistic one in showing the communication of an HIV diagnosis. There are many movies, but this one in particular really encapsulates the loneliness and this sense of disbelief when you hear for the first time you have HIV. The doctor who tells you medical stuff while you try to rationalise everything but you are simply overwhelmed with emotions, sensations, information, and you think that you are different, that you can somehow be completely cured. Congratulations to Jason Mitchell who managed to really show on the screen how a person with HIV truly reacts to the news.
I’m glad you still here

The part where Yella cries and walks off made me start to cry and the part where Dre sees Eazy-E then leaves knowing that’s the last time he’ll see him also made me start to cry a little.

That look on Yellas face after Eazy said I'll call when I get outta here gets me every time. He knows he won't be getting out. He knows he's going to die and will never get that call. And in that face and his next actions from leaving the tape to walking away from the door, You can see complete and total sadness overwhelm him. It's the hardest part to watch.
Truth-that, and seeing E doing his best in those same moments to not only convince Yella he’ll be getting out, but also doing his best to convince himself that he somehow will.
