@@brickitectyes lol 😆 ...I'm on probation. Well should I say my. Money is on hold. In staying in my bank for 6 weeks .till I buy jazz club next ..but it's deadly..going on face book sale s page. And seeing 6 so set s I tottaly need from last 4 year s I trying to catch up. On geting...so geting 2 stuntz set s and video hip. Hop car .set ..an just scored the frends botanic garden set. $55 she was saleing for $60. To hear was only 5 other s on f book sale page but all $85. It was $99 marked down. Fair few munths back...so I scored. I needed the sand green window s to build brick bank moduler outta extra parts 😊 .
I have the original Ghost and Phantom and they are my favorite set in my collection…….the new version definitely holds up………I think Clark and you will love how Rebels plays out and continues with the Ahsoka series…….

I used to collect a lot of Legos, even had a bricklink store for part-outs. But the last straw for me was when I purchased the Ferrari Daytona Technic and the Hardcover Book. Only to have gotten the Technic set and an eventual email stating they had canceled my order for the hardcover. I must've spent an hour and a half refreshing between two computers. They eventually released a softcover book for everyone to purchase but after this fiasco, I saw them as the same I see Jordans/sneakers. Limited release etc, in hopes consumers have FOMO.
I got my GWPs in same box as my order. I placed it afternoon of the 1st and received it on the 3rd. Except my Boarding the Tantive set that's back ordered until July.

The same happened with me. The Thai interceptor was in a box as marked to ship, and this was in a larger box with my commander Cody, Brickhead. I was going to contact customer service, when I looked at my order and saw that there was another order to ship that was in the warehouse, and it was all the GWP items. They arrived four days later.
FWIW - My GWPs shipped in the same box as my primary order.

I ordered may 1st at 1am, my package is in Chicago now was supposed to be here today. Says all gwp also. I went to lego may 4th and recieved more gwps and the special lego bags.
The Ghost is an excellent set and build. Throw on some Rebels episodes and you guys will have a great time :)

With my May 1 "just after midnight" order, they shipped my GWPs separate from the order. The order, itself, was shipped (as usual) via OnTrac...and, the GWPs were shipped via UPS. Both were delivered on the same day. Second May The 5th order shipped the same way. Best I can tell, my third order (ordered May 3) shipped in a single package, via UPS, which I'll find out when it's delivered tomorrow.
Interesting. I've only ever received LEGO packages through Fed Ex and always in a timely fashion and in a single box. This time, Pitney Bowes is shipping the GWPs and they went out on the 7th with an expected delivery of the 13th. Pretty unacceptable if you ask me.
@@brickitect I know they've got at least 2 warehouses in the US...probably more. My guess is, for every order, their system probably determined from which warehouse, and by which carrier, would have the cheapest shipping cost. My third
(mentioned in my previous comment) order is currently Out for Delivery...and, according to the 'shipped' email, it should have both paid-for items, plus all 3 GWPs. 'Interestingly', my fourth (my final "May The 4th") order was delivered last night, Before my third order...but, it only contained the coin & poly bag...no Troop Carrier. No worries, tho...in the end, 3 Troop Carrier, and 4 coins & AATs.
I'll definitely be keeping one coin for myself, and selling the others...but, trying to decide whether I should sell all 3 Troop Carriers, or whether I should keep/build 1 & sell the other 2.
Yeah i guess depending on how much a box can take up for the stuff you bought, it’ll be either thrown in or shipped separately which i find a bit annoying. For a sec i thought you made multiple orders cause there’s been problems there where some aren’t getting multiple GWPs. I ordered at midnight for the UCS AT AT, that came very quick like a couple days later then later my GWPs from that. The next day i ordered the tie and pod racing dio after getting a bunch of points before and after may 1rst. I then order the brick heads then lastly the buildable chewbacca lol. I should be getting most of that today. I wanted the ghost but missed it. Luckily amazon was also doing may 4th deals and they had one for the ghost at about or the same price as lego and ordered that to lol.
Didn't order in May, but I've had a number of GWPs ship seperately. Sometimes I even got the GWP before my order.
Interesting. Maybe this is what to expect going forward.

I've seen on other videos that some people only got one GWP sets and some got multiple GWP sets. I ordered at midnight on May 1st and patiently made 5 separate orders to meet the GWP threshold for 5 of them. I received 4 of my orders on May 3rd and the 5th order on May 5th. Very content that I got 5 sets of GWPs. I feel like this will never happen again for me because I heard the GWPs should only be one per household. So I lucked out this time. Sorry for those that might have gotten screwed. Just reporting here my experience so everyone in the community can learn about what other's experiences were. Hope everyone enjoys their May the 4th purchases.
That is strange, I placed several orders on line May 1st and they all showed up with the GWP, and I did wait up just to place the orders lol! I was able to grab the UCS X-wing right away and check out without issue around 12:05 am, the second order didn't go through until about 12:40 am and then i was able to place another couple orders around 1:30am I think, I dozed off at one point and woke up and the website seemed to be working pretty well, I think it was around 1:30 am might have been later.

Same thing happened to me. my order got split into 3 shipments
I received my ghost similarly packaged. I did receive all my GWPs in the same package. I picked up some brickheadz to get over $160 for the GWPs

When I put the Tusken Raider Brickheadz in my cart at midnight it was in stock but after an hour of F5 ing the site to get the checkout to work it still showed in stock and 12 hours later they said it was backordered will ship later and still no word yet. I got the other stuff and the GWPS
It sounds like the gifts are sold out you might have to wait a bit .
I got 1 set with the print, and the promo's came in a separate box and shipped from another location. But reach out to Lego customer service.

I got the Mos Eisley set and GWPs and it said they were shipped with UPS on the 1st but same as you, only label created.

The set arrived Friday, before the website even showed it shipped.
Who is the shipper? Mine is Pitney Bowes and they seem to be terrible. Mine didn't ship until the 7th and not expected to be delivered until the 13th.

Mine all came together and my ordered would have been placed after yours. Also at least one other person that ordered during the chaotic first hour didn’t get theirs.
It seems to be a trend. I'm going to reach out and see if they can explain what happened so I can do an update.
They ran out. People have so used to Amazon shipping that they can't wait for anything anymore.

I ordered the Throne and the Ghost separately on May 1st during the night, and I’m concerned that I might not receive any GWPs. I’m unsure whether I’ll get two polybags and one droid carrier.
when i ordered, the gwps never even showed up in my order once i placed it. i had to call support and they sent me them in a separate package but they totally just forgot about them lol.
I am in Missouri and Lego uses UPS.
It rebuilt itself into the millennium falcon and flew away.
I'm going to be getting my GWP on 05/08/24 it was sep X-Wing Starfighter that I got on Sunday

I know the feeling of having LEGO regrets. It's usually over things I didn't buy rather than what I bought. The good thing is you can still get it next double VIP time and get close to the deal.
Lego shipping and packaging is sub par..i recieve damaged items because of poor packing regularly. Shipping time and tracking is also poor.
I see BrickTsar have those problems all the time! Mine are usually good coming out of Illinois.

I ordered the same exact sets but got all GWP in the same shipment. I guess I lucked out.
Seems to be the case with most people. I might reach out to LEGO to see what happened so I can include it in my update video.
I built Chewbacca the other day. Was surprisingly an enjoyable build. Built the UCS X-Wing after, horrendous set. Awful build😂

We got our GWP's in the same box as our order. It's weird that they are shipping yours separately.

I honestly would contact Lego support. Typically GWPs don't ship separately.

@@brickitect Mine are also expected the 13th. Being delivered by what will eventually be USPS, I believe? Not sure who has them at the moment. UPS normally delivers my Lego orders (I’m in Nashville). I’ve experienced this several times-the only difference is the carrier this time.
They only sent me 1 of my GWPs I had to call and have them ship me the other two. Not a great look for Lego.

I built the Phantom Menace Brickheadz and the Queen and the Captain uses Metallic Gold pieces not pearl gold and not drum lacquered and there are metallic silver pieces in there too, so since they used the most expensive stuff in it is probably why they are retiring it this December... super short shelf life
