    The MacDonnell Ranges are a long series of mountains located in Australia's Red Centre consisting of parallel mountain ridges running east and West of the Alice Springs. This short cinematic video will take you on a journey through many of the spectacular gaps and gorges that form tiny oases in this harsh arid land. These little oases serve as habitat for local wildlife and have significance to Australia's first nation people the Aborigines.

      Thanks again Miss Melly Vee, you are always so kind :). We were so surprised at how breathtaking the MacDonnell Ranges were and did our best at trying to bring that to the screen. I'm not a religious person but there is something deeply spiritual about this land, its impossible to describe but something i know i felt just being there. I hope you get the opportunity to visit some day. Cheers Phil

    Gotta love this channel. Every time you post I get this excited expectation to click play. I'm not just blowing smoke. There really are not enough adjectives to describe this land or to express what I feel as I watch the glimpses you've given me. Sincerely, thank you for the effort you've put in and for the magic you've allowed me to see. It's been a pleasure.

      Cheers Grant, that means a lot to us mate, it really does. Our goal is to try and recreate the feeling we experience when we visit these places. The good news is that the best is yet to come as we head to the Top End with Litchfield National Park and Kakadu in the coming months. Stay tuned and thank you again for your loyal support and taking the time to drop us a line. All the best to you buddy. Cheers Phil

I am always amazed by the strategic and isolated location of this place.... I would love to be here in Alice Springs in the future.... See u soon Mate

      The MacDonnell Ranges are particularly spectacular. Nature's colour palette of blue skies, red mountains, green and yellow vegetation combine to make this picturesque landscape. I hope you do come and visit some day to see it with your own eyes, these videos can never do justice to the majesty of this region. Stay safe, cheers Phil

      @@IntotheWildFilms I'm planning a budged world tour to Oceania... How expensive is it in Australia?

    • @IntotheWildFilms
      @IntotheWildFilms  Před 2 lety +2

      @@banshankupartham5083 I'm not sure I'm best to answer that "expensive" is a relative term and depends on many things. ie if you are cashed up and travelling on British Sterling you may not consider it that bad. That being said I think Australia is generally considered an expensive travel destination, inflation is rising here and prices are rising. Hope this helps.

      @@IntotheWildFilms Thanks Phil! You are my third subscriber!! Congratulations. I am now retired but as you can see I'm just doing this for fun and a technical interest but I appreciate your interest and support. Just watched your "Over Tasmania" video, looks like the Freycinet Peninsula in the National Park there. I may yet lash out and get myself a DJI drone, don't like the CCP but have to admit the DJI drones have great range and very good gimballed 3 axis cameras. Was thinking about the DJI mini 2 as it gets around regulations however probably loose it if it runs into a headwind when it is too far away. Oh well time will tell. In the meantime look forwards to seeing your Blue Mountains video. Cheers mate.

      @@Bionic_Rob Thanks Robert, the DJI Drones are very good and easy to fly. That being said I lost one during that trip to Tassie, was only my second day on the Island I was flying above the Tarkine Forests and was taken down by a Wedge Tailed Eagle. Drone and all footage from that day lost somewhere deep in the Tarkine. Despite searching in fading light was unable to locate as GPS cut off just before it crash landed. Bought a replacement the next day in Burnie and flew a little more carefully after that. My email address is iwfilms@optusnet.com.au feel free to email me anytime you have any questions. Cheers Phil
