    • @SirWolfCZ
      @SirWolfCZ Před rokem +1

      @@MrSatech That's why you can't use a cable with USB-C on both ends. The current sink (power bank) does not tell the current source (USB charger) to make power available. This is done by two 5k1 pull-down resistors on the power bank side, connected to pins CC1 and CC2.
      This is an important feature of USB-C. Omitting it results in it only working with cables with USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other.
      But we all know that double-sided USB-C/USB-C cables are the future.

    Great video. But I've got one question. At 4:10 right after you solder the usb c adapter to the board the camera jumps and suddenly there's a small bit of red wire your soldering on that wasn't there before. What's it for? Im researching how to do this swap so I may possibly to it to both of my daughters Galaxy Tab A tablets. The Micro USB plugs are just not strong enough to handle the riggors imposed by small children. USB c, however, I feel would hold up alot better. I know there will be a difference between the boards on the tablets and the one you were working with but Id think they'd be somewhat similar. No? Anyway. If you could help me out with that bit of red wire I'd much appreciate it. Thx for the video!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
