I just got it for the xbox and it automatically drops down to 1080p when I select 120 hz, do you know why this happens?

so recently i just got a 165 hz 1ms and other specials. I connect it to my ps5 and tried to get my 120 fps but currently its not going good so how do i get my 120 fps on my ps5?

@@Captbuckswhat game are you playing? Because certain games don’t have 120fps support, Also make sure you’re using hdmi 2.0 or newer. I also suggest going to display settings on your ps5 and make sure you have 120hz display enabled
