This marks our 6th consecutive year we have filmed this amazing bull moose. We first met him as a wound up, rowdy punk, who has since matured into a gorgeous, tolerant, wise and dominant bull. This is our first sighting of him in 2022. He did not disappoint! Enjoy!
Thanks for watching our channel, we are the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire wildlife photographers (and part time Alaska.) It is our passion to document wildlife of any kind, but moose are definitely at the top. In New Hampshire we spend a lot of our spring/summer hours in kayaks photographing loons and moose in the waters of New Hampshire. And hike many miles in Alaska seeking all manner of wildlife in the fall.

Hey 🐂💩! (🤣)!! YES!!! Grumpy!!! Happy Dance!! 🕺💃🕺💃 And that little sidekick Spike? he's EVERYwhere!! Just taking it all in, this first rut. He's too funny. More of him to come. But meanwhile, yes thanks, the rain 🌧🌦has let up a little (shh) 🌈 and the wind🍃🌬has backed off...but all the animals have gone into hiding for the past couple of days. 😡!! Still, we keep hiking for them and we WILL ferret them out heh heh heh. You can't hide from team 🐂👭!! And btw, I see you ALL the time now 🐂💩! It's amazing how you were able to find "Grumpy"!! He came across this little guy and was very gentle, sparring with him. I love this big fella!! I see "Grumpy" always makes things look very interesting out there. I can see though "Turkey" has other plans, and took his little buddy with him. Poor "Grumpy" got singled out. Although, I think there will be many happier returns, as all these wonderful moose belong into one big happy family. I have "Grumpy" as one of my favorites!! Thank you again for great footage!!
Thanks for the great comment, Dan. Yes, Grumpy is one of our favorites too and we were thrilled to see his return. Turkey is an up and coming bull but he still has some maturing to do. He will be magnificent when he grows into himself. That little Spike is a riot; he's everywhere! We hope to bring lots more of Grumpy. Appreciate your being here!
