This Project , this album is my absolute favorite from Björk! She is such an inspiration, her and Sir David Attenborough are true Heroes in our society ❤️🦔🐟
Why isn't this documentary more widely known? Nature, music, and even some science. Three of my most favorite things, together with two people who are the some of the most interesting in those things.
I'd love to hang out with both of these people. I live in Australia and have never seen a lyre bird. They love in Katoomba, Blue Mountains area which is 2 hours from me and I've been many times. One day man.... I'll see one
Boffins geeks nerds weirdos are what keep us simple and uncomplicated in life.... Why fight it when love is all around us ❤❤❤ Naivety is beautiful and STRONGER ❤
I find it sad that this doesn’t have more views if only women in music were more inspired by her we’d get much more interesting music. She’s a beautiful fascinating artist and I wish we were pals!....... OH NO I’m five mins in and I’ve become like her stalker that she had!!
I am finding, post a decade or more! Was a huge fan from her Sugarcubes days, then on her own. So happy to have come across this. Better now than never.
I believe she's not allowed her inner child to escape into adulthood. Instead she nourishes it often in play. To see which regions of her brain are most active when she's composing and experimenting with sound and technology might surprise the neuro- boffins. Many wondrous people have existed, that little lady is up there alongside them. She is an enigma wrapped in a soft but crunchy conundrum. I would love to just spend some quality time with her. She fascinates me.
We need this in other languages. There are no subtitles available. I wish Netflix made something like this but with the technology and format of today's documentaries. Netflix's 2019 documentary "The Creative Brain" is similar and also very good just from a neurological explanation not biology/nature/animals
Its sad when we have extreme talent like Bjork (saw her in San Francisco in 1996, blew me away). and all people listen to now is insipid soulless music.
it would be really sad if she wasn’t acknowledged by many other fans and artists. she has influenced many waves of artists of today. her flowers are growing
Then you're not looking very hard. There are plenty of incredible artists out there today, and they're actively putting out music. Spotify exists. Get yourself a subscription and actually make the endeavor to listen to something new. Björk is an incredible artist. My favorite in fact... She wouldn't approve of this condemnation of modern music! For one thing, she is a part of modern music, but she also recognizes many other artists and is a fan of many musicians out there today. Even if you just listened to the discography of other artists Björk has worked with, you'd find amazing material.
@@enigmatic9118 Can you suggest some new artists to listen to? I have been listening to stuff on Spotify and SoundCloud, there is a lot of auto tuned dross but occasionally some music which is excellent, but nothing that has hit me like the first time I heard the Sex Pistols or the Sugar Cubes but want to wade more into other artists Bjork has worked with. I live in Moscow and teach at a music school and my students have really good accomplished music on Spotify, in particular a band called The Secret World and a young teenage artist called Babooka.
@@jock77stuff Hello, there is this great Art Rock album, which was released earlier this year, with really interesting vocals and intense instrumentation. "Ants from Up There" by Black Country, New Road. Another recommendation from this year: "Concrete over water" by Jockstrap. Phenomenal song, really experimental, but with this pop touch. Completely different from everything you will ever have heard.
@@jacksweeklymusicreviews3411yes! She said in an interview that she’d had a massive crush on him for years, so was a little intimidated at first Attenborough also said that he found her attractive and charming
she is not pretentious, this album is a masterpiece and did exactly its purpose. showed how music making shouldn’t be put in a box, made with technology & nature

Awwww! When he complimented her at the end and she took it so deeply. Sweet
Her demeanor has always been so refreshing
you can see they understand each other so well, its so unexpected but in a way so obvious
Björk you are a genius! I have always been loving you so much for your activity, music and whole art!
Thank you very much for this post. And an interesting note: the song titles on Cocteau Twins' Victorialand were also inspired by
David Attenborough.
Tilda is narrating ❤️
Perfection
So she is! Another absolutely lovable kook

Biophilia is such an underrated record
I love Björk so much!!! :)
Amazing! So happy I found this. Going to check the full CD right now!
Isn't this full?
@@bulutrengiCould be referring to Biophillia?

She’s in her element 🥰

It doesn't have more views because this documentary has been uploaded by others and deleted by youtube plenty of times.
This one has been up for 7 years it seems?
Indeed. If this was a doc about some whingey bloke with a guitar it’d go through the roof 😔
I am finding, post a decade or more! Was a huge fan from her Sugarcubes days, then on her own. So happy to have come across this. Better now than never.
I loved so
Groundbreaking!!!
Bjërk

she’s said before that she’s probably autistic to some extent, so it may be to do with that :)
if only sum ting wong learn a thing or two of popping out a joke from david attenborough's mouth that came in this documentary.
I miss that app!
Is that Tilda Swinton narrating? 😍
Yes, she is.

"Look Charles Barkley! It's snowing!"
I did a song to encourage tourists: Welcome to Iceland, there is no sunlight, the ground is on fire...

Is it me or is their interaction rather awkward? XD
