    My Pastor puts it like this, we have been set free from all curses. But the struggle is with generational decisions, what you was exposed to, environment, parenting, and pretty much learned, taught, or seen.

    The best way to put this is change the wording from generational curses to generational patterns
    For example my great grandfather drank and his father and so on it’s something that’s observed it’s something that’s taught or experienced and it’s passed from generation to generation who accepts it
    The same can be said for those who have the acumen of generational wealth because it’s been taught it’s been observed it’s been passed on from generation to generation.
    I come from a long line of smokers but I broke that generational pattern instead of curse. I broke that generational pattern by being repugnant of smoking and vowing to never do it and I married a woman who feels the same way and we have three sons who feel the same way and the mothers of their children are that way and so therefore that pattern ( not curse ) is broken.
    Now for another subject and not in the realm of a curse but there are spirits that permeate over certain cities and areas like Seattle with its inordinate amount other suicides or Atlanta and SanFransisco with its outwardly high homosexual population.

    There absolutely are generational curses but not the kind they are talking about. A true generational curse is more of a generational inheritance of negative traits and thought patterns. The way we think and perceive the world is usually shaped by our upbringing. The “curse” is the patterns of behavior that prevent us from growing beyond what we believe is possible because of the way we perceive ourselves based on our past experiences. But it’s not like a curse someone or something put on you. True generational curses a human limitations which God can help us overcome when we find the truth in his word and we are made free from the mental constraints that hold us in the harmful patterns of thoughts and actions.

    This one is tough as there is biblical support for both sides of the argument. Having said that, I tend to agree, in light of the Lord's finished work on the cross, I think that generational curses are a thing of the past. I wholeheartedly agree that things, whether good or bad, can be "generational" due to them being bred by parents and passed to their children (e.g. habits, views, wealth, and values). But, to say when it is bad it is due to a curse seems to short-circuit the effects of the cross, at least to me. The Lord Jesus said that if He is lifted up, He would draw all peoples unto Himself. His death on the cross is provision for all to come to Him...we know everyone will not come to Him, but it is not because Jesus did not make a way for them - they have freely chosen to reject God. Believers are not only sealed by the Holy Spirit but are an entirely new creation in Christ Jesus, the old has passed away and new things have come. Personally, I have concluded that generational curses were nailed to the cross with Jesus, but unlike our Lord, they were not raised.

    Listen brother. People come out of the womb dealing with familiar spirits, dealing with sinful predispositions in their epigenetics, born into covens, born to a family where the grandparents are Freemasons, etc. To a large degree you are mincing words in this video-the simple fact is that there are all sorts of things a person can be dealing with that need to be resolved spiritually; to call these sorts of things “curses” is reasonable to anybody who knows what a curse is.

That leads to pregnancy which ends up leading to the break up and divorce of the first marriage. Well the child that's born inherits a genetic disease they wouldn't have gotten it if the affair never happened. That genetic disease could have fatal consequences on that child even though they didn't ask to be born is that child responsible for that? Often what is referred to as a generational curse is biblically referred to as the reproach of the enemy. Jeremiah 25 is a good example. The land of Judah was taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar for seventy years due to the people's disobedience. It means there were people born into the captivity i.e. the generational curse. Today the enemy is still reproaching us even as believers being reminded that all of God's enemies have not been cast under his footstool. Only when all of the Lord's enemies have been placed under his footstool will the curses cease to exit. However, as believers there is the potential to come under curses such as for disobedience according to Deuteronomy 28 for which I have personally experienced. So yes generational curses or what is the reproach of the enemy exists.

The first text states that God would bring “punishment for the error of fathers upon sons and upon grandsons,” while the latter states that “a son himself will bear nothing because of the error of the father.” Why do these texts appear to be contradictory? Because they are taken out of context. Examine the surrounding material and setting. It then becomes obvious that when God mentioned punishment as coming upon not only fathers but also sons and grandsons, he was speaking of what would result to Israelites as a nation if they sinned against him and were taken into captivity. On the other hand, when mentioning that a son would not be liable for the error of his father, he was speaking of personal accountability.

So Generation curses are in your blood line which mean at the start someone in your family or ancestors came into a covenant with a spirit and see the thing you don’t understand stand is you and so many others think it is the demon that curses you a demon cannot curse you the curse is the covenant itself it gives the spirits legal ground into your bloodline and your life and not is not spiritually broken it will continue to go down the blood line , you have no clue what a curse or generation curse is , what a covenant is , is a contract between a demon and a human Spiritually and they have a deal or certain demands that can create generational blessings but also there is a demand they require like all your children after you have to worship this god or do blood sacrifices or this or that and what it does is created a on going affect and it goes down the family line until it is broken there is not way all these families just have a history of the same problems from generations to generations that’s because there is a generational curse that was created out of a covenant on that family a lot of us Christian’s today lack knowledge and my brother in this subject you are completely wrong . If generational curses didn’t exist and covenants didn’t exist there would be no need for deliverance even after you get saved.

    For a Believer in Christ who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour, Generational curses are not applicable because they are now Born of God and have the life of God abiding in them.
    For an unbeliever who is not born again, such a person could still suffer the effect of generational curse because they are living under the old man who has not be redeemed.
    A born again Christian does not suffer from Generational curses but could be influenced by Generational patterns.
    Most people get mixed up between a pattern and a curse. They aren't the same

    yes yes yes Corey. If the curse is from God, how can a man break it? Wow, I love the way you guide us in the scriptures about all these subjects.

    Isn't the sinful nature and death itself a curse upon all generations within the whole history of creation? Neither of which can any man eradicate from their lives on their own.
    Romans 5:12 ~ Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned

      Since most people are taking my comments as slight against the YTuber. I will take the time to explain to you why this teaching is wrong.
      First you need a definition of a curse or a blessing - which are almost antonyms .
      A. Blessing or curse
      Means to be bound by words spoken over a person or people to attain a certain fate or outcome .

    • @Mannymyers20
      @Mannymyers20 Před 4 měsíci +1

      1.Technically everyone who is not in Christ is still under the curse of sin and death since the beginning . For Christ has redeemed us from the curse of sin and death.
      2. The sons of disobedience that do not know God - have foul spirits that are working in them presently and over time to kill steal and destroy - binding them for years whether 18 or 38 of infirmities or generations . Eph 2:2

    • @Mannymyers20
      @Mannymyers20 Před 4 měsíci

      3. No one would have believed that deaf and dumb disabilities or physical ailment has spirituals ties unless Jesus healed people of such foul spirits . Yet today medical scholars says it’s dyslexia of genetic or use science or behavior (consequence) to explain spiritual things.
      4. If people don’t understand earthly things how can they understand spiritual things if they are told

      5. Many examples of curses in the Bible pronounced by a prophet or a person judges 9:57. If these curses did fall on the people produced upon what makes you think it cannot come else on their children . I mentioned before both blessings and cursing can leapfrog unto following generations.
      6. Just because it don’t snow on Alabama don’t mean snow ain’t real. There are places where these evil cultic practices are being practiced daily with results . If you don’t know you don’t know .

    Yes there's generational curse. But that is broken when the heart is turned to Jesus. God told Jeremiah not to use that sentence again àbout " the father ate the sour grapes and the children teeth been set on hedge". Rather the soul that sinneth shall die. Just look around you will see examples of entire family suffer the same fate. Eg. Being an addict or Being a thief. There is also generational blessings. Thank God for this..

    And a lot of these “so-called, teachers” repeat what they’ve heard without reading the Word of God for themselves. Why would I need to pay for what my ancestors, whom I don’t know, did? Jesus paid the price and through His blood we are healed!
