I'm African American, born in 1950. I remember, as a child, seeing my grandmother eating with her hands. I never understood why. Later, seeing my sisters and brothers from the African continent eating with their hands, I realize my grandmother was simply acting to what was a part of her cultural DNA. Furthermore, her date of birth wasn't that much removed from the time of slavery in America. BTW, love this video!

Try as I might, I can't imagine how two proteins with strong taste such as beef and fish cooked together in a soup taste like. Especially in the case of tilapia, which sometimes has a slightly muddy flavor because of the algae in the freshwater it was living in. Paired with the gaminess of beef. Or goat. I wonder how it taste like.
