    Well done that man..... the Qatar A380 pilot at 30:00. She was like a bucking bronco as she came in and to get her down that well uses a hell of a lot of talent.👏

    And that 787 at 35:30 was unbelievable!! These BA fellas are top notch pilots so for an aircraft like a ultra modern Dreamliner to behave like that under their control..... there's some serious wind shear or similar going on!😯 Well done to that crew!!🇬🇧🇬🇧👏👏
    Now you realise why they land with the throttles ready for action.
    It behaved in a similar fashion the second time around so I'm wondering if it's the wing design on the Dreamliner.

    If he was bad he wouldn’t be a pilot. And also, it was windy conditions which I imagine would be very difficult to land in.

    If people wonder why the pilots seem to slam the aircraft down when the runway is that wet.... it's to break the surface of the water. If you gently touch the wheels down, the tyres won't break the surface and they will aqua plane down the runway with obvious catastrophic results.

    Plenty of armchair pilots on here, including the commentator. Completely clueless about piloting an aircraft. Thinks the pilot isn’t good at windy landings. Who’s to say the other pilot didn’t fly the second approach? Both approaches looked fine to me. There’s no accounting for wind shear - it’s random. There’s also no accounting for ignorance when it comes to CZcams comments, it seems.

    • @gooner72
      @gooner72 Před 3 lety +6

      Why make comments like that? People who aren't pilots or engineers or aviation experts are allowed to be aviation enthusiasts, it doesn't matter. What gives you the right to pass judgement on or criticise others? You need to wind your neck in sunshine and keep your derogatory comments to yourself.
