@@sadoak_ We don’t intend to win the Eurovision. That would be incredibly expensive and the German government doesn’t want to support that so we are pretty used to low points. Scoring high would clearly an unplanned accident 😂

That's the original lyrics. The rules of ESC forbid expletives (since the beginning of the contest, it's along with forbidding political propaganda etc, because the purpose of the whole thing is supposed to be fostering international cooperation and wholesome cultural exchange), so Maneskin changed a couple of lines to meet them. But in the winners performance Damiano sang the true original lyrics.

Everyone was so happy with the audience votings this year, the 4 countries that got 0 points, they cheered and smiled. Belgium got three points and they laughed like pretty hard. The guy from Switzerland cheered, clapped and laughed when Italy won, unlike that guy from Sweden in 2019, his face looked like “wtf is this shit, I really thought I was gonna win” when the Netherlands won and he didn’t
Everyone was having so much fun this year. If they had 0 points or 300, it didn’t seem to matter. They were just happy to be back a guess

I'd wager it's slightly less noticeable and memeable when there's multiple countries involved so the points fluctuate a bit instead of just consistently exchanging 12 points with the exact same country.
On the other hand it was kinda funny how Belgium betrayed both its neighbours by not giving ANY points to The Netherlands and France

Except they don't? This year, the only one you could say was overrated was Norway giving 10 to Sweden. There were a few other high ones to for example Iceland, but they got high points in general so that's nothing strange.
I loved loved loved Ukraine and I couldn't believe Italy could win with a rock song until they did. What a gem of a band those guys are.
Hats off to Gjon's Tears for stunning vocals and all the best for Destiny. I hope she keeps on singing. Such a strong voice at such a young age. She's got a 1 in a million voice, please keep on using it, dear.

This was my favourite Eurovision so far... and your video sums it up so perfectly! It was so difficult to cope with contestants not making it to the final as I loved nearly everyone. Everything was so iconic and amazing, and so many great people even outside of just being good performers! ♡ And yeah, a lot of it was also hilarious and over the top, which you reflect in the video amazingly as well.

I kind of want to complain about Spain's staging.
Blas keeps emphasizing that the song's about his grandmother, and yet nothing but an inflatable moon appears on stage. Compare the staging to Germany 2018.
Michaels staging in 2018 was amazing and I feel this kind of staging would have been wonderful for Spain’s song. Something simple and yet something that embraces the song and the meaning behind it a little better would have fit the song so great.
It's RTVE, I also disliked it (I'm spanish). But fairly, the song was very good and Blas was amazing.
I'm just silently waiting for Sigrid to be the performer of Norway.
