    The very same locomotive that starred in The Journey of Natty Gann (1985), pulling a freight train.... ahhh childhood memories 🙂 a beautiful engine indeed 🚂

    Makes me think of 2317 miss that engine. I remember when this ran with 2860 a better time

      Yes, we've lost a few. I miss the CNR 6060. It's been out of service for about 10 years now. :(

    3716 is like a brother of 2816 and a sister of 2317 they look alike

      Agreed! It’d be nice to see 3716 take on the Lackawanna main line from Scranton to the Delaware Water Gap and return.

    does anyone know what that tube is in front of the funnel at the top of the locomotive

      Erickderec, are you referring to the cylinder above the number boards? I don't know very much about steam locomotives, but I believe it is a feedwater heater.
