Eight years ago, so maybe your opinion has changed, but a comedian's jokes don't necessarily reflect their personal opinions. They simply say whatever gets people to laugh. In my opinion, the bigger thing to take away from this clip is how the show checked its biases by having guests from both ends of the political spectrum, from Pauline Hanson to Adam Bandt.
