- DIALED ARXOS or UV SLIDER || Best Bow Sights???? This week we compare the Dialed Arxos and the UV Slider and talk about the top features that each sight brings to the table making them both my top bow sights of 2024. We also talk about a few areas of improvement for the Dialed Arxos and also the UV Slider. We hope that this video answers some of the questions I get about which bow sight I would recommend.

I know an adjustable sight is in the works, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s an adjustable vertical pin from Dialed!
I haven’t tried vertical pins yet, but if that drops I will definitely be making that purchase. Here’s to the months to come!
@dice2420 once you try a vertical pin setup you won't go back to a horizontal.
I wish both of them had smaller pin housing's. Both are awesome sight's, great video man!

I'll verify, but I believe that the Arxos scope is bigger than 41mm.
Also, both these sights are on the lighter side. I'm not sure of the exact weight, but I would not consider them heavy at all.
i owned both . currently i have the slider with no issues and have sold my arxos . If the arxos windage bar wouldnt of broke for a 3rd time i would of been happy with it and never replaced it with the slider.
😳😳How did the windage bar break?
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors after shooting in on my V3X 33 , it would take about 200-300 shots and end up just breaking internally and allowing my scope to free tilt up and down a little. the more i shot it the worst it got. i sent the windage bar back and got a replacement. installed the replacement and had the same issue in about the same amount of shots. i finally ended up sending the entire sight in for repair . once i got the sight back i had a few hundred shots in and the same results. my bows stay in the hard cases when not being used and it was never hunted with during any of this. i gave up on the arxos and sold it on Ebay for $100 as broken. i couldn't be happier with the UV slider and own a bunch of other high quality sights( 2 landslydes , 1 achieve xp , 1 achieve xp pro) without a single issue. i'm not sure why i had such a terrible experience with the sight while others have nothing but great things to say about it. I was not a fan of the little Indicator pins and how hard it was to adjust them. the indicator pings being raised above the tape left a lot to be desired for accuracy.
I also had issues with the three pin on the UV Slider in low light conditions. I run the single pin (19 thou) for 3D and it's great! Thanks for your review.
You're welcome, and thank you for watching. The .019 is a great pin size on the UV. It's definitely a lot brighter.
Question: If you’re bringing a three pin vertical to market, why wouldn’t you make them adjustable? Is there an advantage to them being fixed?
When they first released the sight, there was a patient on the adjustable 3-pin sights (vertical), and to my understanding, that patient is over, which is why we are seeing more of them coming out from various manufacturers.
From my conversations with a few different companies, there is a decent amount of engineering involved as well.
The offset in the bar for Bridgelock is an epic fail by UV IMO. You build a sight from scratch, and instead of placing the offset much further forward right at the 2nd axis so just the scope gets offset, you place 75% PLUS of the weight off to the side. There literally is no difference between this and just mounting the sight to the side of the riser. Gang adjustment at the scope PLUS a smaller scope housing = a straight Bridgelock bar. HHA was smart and put their offset in the infinite adjust plate right at the scope. I still can't believe UV did that from scratch.
With the arxos, how do you build a custom tape of the pin to peep keeps changing because of the angled slider?
Dialed builds their own tapes that match this change. Their sight tapes are unique to the ARXOS.
With the custom tape builder, you shoot in your distances and enter the input into the cells on their website.

I’ve been using my lab radar to create tapes with precision cut and they’ve been absolutely perfect. And it takes 5 minutes.
Not being able to do that is a significant downside for me, but I’m glad they have a way to do it.

Would you run the UV scope on the Dialed Arxos?
You can, but I don't see the need to.
The only thing keeping me from an arxos is pin adjustment, as a florida hunter the thick palms and brush force me to like my 20,30,40 pins and adjust from there.
I went with a lighter hunting arrow this year, and my top pin is 20, and my second pin is 34ish; I haven't shot my bottom pin in yet.
I bought the dialed arxos sight without the scope, and bought a dark owl archery scope that has 20/30/40 pins. Very happy with that setup.

Yes, I know it's in the works. There is just no ETA at the moment.

I hate the axis adjustment on the arxos. I’m currently running an arxos and ordered the Uv slider
Is it the evaluation adjustment that you don't like?
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors the 2nd axis adjustments takes all my confidence away from the sight. When you’re sighting in the sight, you’re constantly loosening up the bolts that control the 2nd axis to move the scope left right or down.
@jxhkb you're supposed to find your 20 first, then adjust your second axis. At least, that's how I have always done it, and I have never had an issue.
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors yes I know. I don’t know… the sight in process is not 100 percent to me either. I found the “closest” tape. Wish they had a system like spot Hogg or uv where you shoot 20/60 and have a set tape. Just a lot of variables. It’s one of the sexiest sights on the market I’ll give it that.
Which is better HHA tetra max or an ultraview slider For hunting ?
I prefer the UV. The HHA is nice, but the UV beats it in all aspects, in my opinion.
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors I’ll definitely take that into consideration. I’ve got to buy a new sight and I was kinda of leaning towards between those two
@Easternandoutward both are solid options, but the UV offers a lot of features that I personally look for.
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors personally I like that HAA has been a proven company for many years but ultraview. I believe is fairly new to the market. But they make great releases. So I hear Which I’m about to drop. 350 on the UB button but I believe it’s worth it
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors how can you say better in all aspects? The hha has brighter pins, adjustable dead stop, ability to have different sight tapes for different setups. To hunters the pins especially and the dead stop are huge for hunting. The uv is really nice and looks sick but from a hunting aspect it misses on some key things and I'm low light the uv light lights up the whole housing which makes it difficult to see beyond.
