  • Dialed Arxos Sight - LET'S DEBUNK THE RUMORS. The Dialed Arxos Sight Review is a video that I have wanted to do for quite some time, and finally, we were able to get out hands on this USA Made Bow Sight.
    In this week's video, we take a look at the Dialed Arxos Sight from Dialed Archery, and like all of our bow sight review videos, we do a full review of the Dialed Arxos, but most importantly, we debunk the rumors and negative feedback that this sight has received since its release.
    If you want to learn more about the Dialed Arxos Sight, make sure to subscribe to the channel, as we have some additional videos in the works!

      Thank you! I appreciate the kind words.
      The BG DUAL Trac is a badass sight. I ran it all last year and loved it but I might try the Dailed this hunting season.

      @mikeguy9668 will do. I will finish sighting it this week and run it on a few 3D courses, so I'll keep you all updated.

      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors what's your overall opinion on the sight. I'm torn between the arxos and the uv slider

      @macmcleod9328 The Arxos is built like a tank and is an incredible sight. You can't go wrong with either option.

      I agree. They are on the pricey side but the finish is what adds the extra cost.

    Great video, very unbiases. The only drawback for me at least is that gap between pins. I plan on using just the top pin and using it basically like the HHA single pin..just rotate the dial and shoot. Any thoughts on using just the top single pin? Will only sighting in at 20, 30, and 40 limit distance or is that enough data points to get a good tape?

    • @macmcleod9328
      @macmcleod9328 Před 6 měsíci +1

      The more data you collect the better and more accthe sight tape

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  Před 5 měsíci

      I agree with @macmcleod9328. The more data you have, the better, but if you never plan to shoot past 40, you can use a blank tape or a piece of painter's tape and mark where you are hitting at those ranges and then compare it to the sight tapes to see which one lines up. However, the further out you go, you may have some inconsistencies.

    The sight is a premium sight in the cost category. Here are my issues wtih the sight.
    1. Cerakote is a great I have it on my firearms. It won't make the sight tons more durable it is still just aluminum it was doen for the color options.
    2. The 2nd axis adjustment is NOT independent of the elevation adjust and NEITHER is independent of the macro adjustment of the horizontal scope adjustment. Need to adjust elevation go do 2nd axis again. Need to make big swing at windage be careful not to breathe and move the elevation and also 2nd axis adjustment.
    This sight has SO much potential but this V1 needs some serious improvements.
    The whole point of buying a premium sight is to NOT have to make any sacrifices and this sight is rife with them.

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  Před 10 měsíci

      I agree with point two. I had some trouble at the bow shop getting the second-axis and third-axis adjustment dialed in, and as you mentioned, you have to be very careful about not moving the elevation at all, or you have to redo it. I can see where it would be an issue for most people.

    If you only want a single pin sight this sight is awesome. The problem with the sight is the new feature of an angled slider. This is not a good feature if you want a multipin scope with pin indicators that give consistent yardages as you turn the dial. This is because it changes the “peep to sight” distance as you turn the dial. Dialed sight tapes account for this for a single pin but without calibrated wheel pins that would self adjust as you turn the dial the only pin that will remain consistent will be the floating pin. When I talked to Dialed about this they said in the first 50yards it remains pretty consistent past 50 it will loose it’s consistency. So with this sight it limits you to a single pin sight or a a single float pin as you turn the dial. So all the pins on the dial you see do absolutely nothing for you when it comes to yardages. They really shouldn’t have put those on there because it is misleading. Personally I prefer sights that have multi pins scopes that remain consistent with the pins on the dial throughout the full range of adjustment. It all comes down to what you want to use the sight for.

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  Před 6 měsíci +3

      I appreciate the opinion, but that's not true, at least not in my experience. I have successfully used this as a single-pin and a multi-pin floater.
      It does take a little extra effort to get the second and third pin indicators in position, but that's my only complaint.
      If you are off when setting the indicators, you'll have issues the further you go.

      @@MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      It is 100% true and there is a simple way to test what I am saying. Take a regular sight that has an extension bar with a straight up and down sight bar. There are many that have this ability, where they have multiple pins and multiple indicators on the sight bar. (HHA Ryz has 2 indicator pins, Spot Hog 3 pin vertical has 3 indicator pins, etc. throughout the range of motion these types of sights will have consistent yardages on the indicator pins) place the sight as far out as possible, sight in all pins and find a tape that matches your arrow flight. Once sighted in, bring the sight in one notch, this would simulate the half inch difference you see when the scope is at the top of sight compared when it is at the bottom on the ARXOS. You will see that your arrows do not hit in the same place, and you will see that the further the shot distance the greater the shot will be off from your previous shot when the scope was further out. This concept is why when you want to create a custom sight tape they have you measure from center of peep to scope pins. If that measurement changes dramatically through the range of motion you will not build an accurate sight tape out at distance. Meaning the multiple indicator pins will not line up with the proper yardages at distance. This is why you can only use a single float pin with this sight. I would love to see you make a video demonstrating this principle. You put out great content.

    Now I’m not trying to be controversial but I think it is weird or odd that a lot of the people that reviewed this sight, said it’s to expensive, I don’t like the features, doesn’t look durable, and I don’t like the brake or locking mechanism and now this untra view slider came out, it’s more expensive, has some of the same innovations and almost the same look say how much they love this sight. In some ways I feel like (and this is just a opinion) they took the ideas from the arxos and ran with it

    • @MichiganAmBushOutdoors
      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I'm not arguing that it's very expensive. At the time of this review, it was the most expensive sight on the market, but I think the finish led to the increased cost. Now the UV is out, and it took the lead as the most expensive hunting sight.
      I have both and the only thing that is similar is the ability to slide the sight when locked.

    • @matthewcalhoun5749
      @matthewcalhoun5749 Před 9 měsíci +1

      One of my favorite things about the Dailed was the scope size and having the bubble at the top. The only downside was the pin gap was a little too big for me for hunting.

      @matthewcalhoun5749 Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@MichiganAmBushOutdoors. I agree. I got the three pin version. But hate that there was no light and I don’t like the way the light looks either. Do you like the UV slider more? If so can you put a different scope on it?

      @MichiganAmBushOutdoors  Před 8 měsíci +1

      You can run a UV scope on the Dailed.
      I do have the UV Slider and so far, I am really enjoying it but it also has some room for improvement.

      It possible he wasn't aware that the sight could be tuned so I wouldn't hold it against him.
