I added a 30 cm to my Graco, leaked....rep said no to using teflon tape but just would not stop leaking. ..so went with teflon. Seemed to help. Sort of disapointed in it.

Are the extension wands interchangeable brand to brand. Graco ones are very expensive.

Mostly interchangeable for your floor standing devices. Some handheld devices will have different thread sizes. Here are more extension options at slightly more affordable prices: www.airless-discounter.de/en/extensions/ Check your thread size on your spray gun and then match it against the thred size on the extension.

I needed a 40 inch extension to hit 12 ft ceilings. Didn't realize that Graco only makes that length in heavy duty. It is thicker diameter and material. I can't imagine using it except for overhead vaulted ceilings. Probably have to hold gun in one hand and with the other hand the extension to keep it straight. Is there a better option? Maybe 2 standard non heavy duty 30" extensions connected together. I was hoping to keep my feet on the ground most the job

I was wondering if the 30cm extension is helpful because it gives you a slightly longer range. But you're saying "you don't even know why you use it" - but do you think it gives you a little more range (so you have to move fewer times)? I'm trying to paint my entire house exterior. Moving my ladder takes a good chunk of time, so the fewer ladder moves = faster painting. So I'm wondering if I should pay $30 for an extension, will I move the ladder 20% less?

Hi, it really depends on the job site. But in general extensions are quite usefull. Most of our clients take usually the 50cm or 100cm to reach surfaces easily.
