- Frankie Bacon has no plans for retirement because she says there no other place she would rather be then work. Come along with me as we hear some of stories and wisdom from a very sharp mined and inspirational 95 years young Frankie Bacon.

A woman like her that gets up and goes to work at 95 years old and drives herself she is definitely a legend in my book
My grandmother was driving her pals to bingo in a large van well into her 80's. Sadly she passed awhile back at 94yrs young. Oh the things she had to pick through when her place was cleaned out(50K in cash from casino winnings included). They were a different breed, a life well lived indeed.
She is absolutely adorable,I could listen to her talk for hours.Her stories would make a good series.
She's a Earth Angel....I see the beckon of light that' she is
Younger generation doesn’t want to work and the older generation doesn’t want to quit!!
True facts!
LOL😂
Women like her are true heroes. Like war veterans.
She is a treasure, how she was raised is much healthier than today. Probably the reason she is so healthy today and beautiful.
God Bless Frankie...Love to hear about they're past . Was a simpler time in America.
I don't think it was simple, I don't think there was as many fat lazy people back then. They worked hard, but it wasn't a big deal because they did it all the time.
Never underestimate seniors. I learned that when I was very young from my Grandparents, Great Aunts and Uncles, older friends of my parents. They have skills, knowledge, manners and stories well worth hearing. Seniors like Ms Frankie can still work and make a difference. I am 73 now and aspire to be like Ms Frankie. Wonderful to meet her and listen to her!
If the younger generation would listen to their elders their world would be much easier in them but some(not all) have a chip on their shoulders and want to buck the way it should be and in the end they realize we all should be living like our grandparents did. Live simple lives and go to church!!
Miss Frankie is the very definition of good stock.
This was wonderful. It would be good if we could start a list of questions for John to ask her next time.
1. What kinds of food does she eat?
2. Any advice for a long and happy life?
3. If she does not watch much tv, what does she do after work and in her spare time?
4. So far what has been her favorite decade?
thats a good idea for sure.
God bless Ms Frankie! She is a wealth of history. Growing up and eating food that was grown at home probably contributed to her good health and sound mind! God bless her and thank you for sharing her wisdom! Keep on, keeping on Ms Frankie!
I could listen to her all day long. We can learn so much from from our elders if we would just listen. I have always been drawn to older people to listen to them. Sadly I have turned into one of those older people…lol
My grandfather was a coal minor in KY lost a leg in the mine he couldnt work in the mine anymore so he took my grandmother and their 6 kids and headed to CA in 1927 just before the crash where I still am in the bay area.
@carballoca

Thank you, John! God bless you, Frankie! You are a treasure! ❤
She is a treasure to society and everyone's life she has touched. Still sharp as a tack at 95. We all could learn something from this great lady. Regardless how smart you may think you are. These true American icons are disappearing way too fast. God bless her!
I feel like a spring chicken. I work for Raytheon company for 50 years - was 75 when I retired.
No processed food, a life with purpose and a rich social life!!! Congratulations to Ms. Frankie !
My great aunt Annie kept a milk cow in her Gainesville, Georgia, yard. She sold milk, butter mill, butter, and eggs. She also kept a few chickens.

Enjoyed your interview with Ms. Frankie. She has seen alot of things that most of us have never seen. I am sure she has been a great example to many others in her lifetime. She seems like she truly loves people and she knows how to make others laugh.
I’m the same age as you, John. I grew up in those days in the 70s in Chicago an New Jersey. Even up there, it was still a small town feel in the suburbs of the large cities. It was definitely a different time. Back in those days, we used to have block parties in the neighborhood and all the kids and adults used to have parties in the spring and fall having cookouts and all kinds of activities for the kids and adults… it was kind of like the 4th of July. Still remember it all. Here in the South now, it still has a feel of those old days. I’ve lived in north GA now for a little over 20 yrs.
@the octopus
I grew up in the 70s-80s n it was simpler times n I also remember alot of block parties n cook outs in my neighborhd. Times have changed so much!
That woman is a Queen! The very best of the South! She reminded me so much of my Mammy that passed on years ago. Judge Judy is what we all need more of!!

💖
An amazing Lady! It’s a privilege to get to know people like that!
She does not look or act like she is almost 96 years old . She doesn’t even look 80 years old . God Bless her for many more healthy years.
Blessings good health and a long life for Ms Bacon.
Glory be to GOD! Miss Frankie! Wow, wow, wow! Bless here beautiful heart! The best history is true oral history (that comes from someone who actually lived in, during, around and personally experienced that history), which is the best history lesson one can obtain. Miss Frankie is truly remarkable and a true gift to us all. Her unrelenting integrity is awesome and ever-present, and you can tell that she is a true child of GOD! John, thank you so much for making this very special video, and please thank Miss Frankie for her loving kindness, history lesson, and for being the wonderful her! I truly enjoyed this video. GOD bless!

You’re a dear treasure Ms. Frankie 🫶
Frankie is an amazing person! Would love to hear more of her stories
Maybe you can take her up to the spring and get water.
Im happy this lady is doing so well. She’s so sweet!
I love to listen to older people talk, and at 72 years of age, I'm getting there myself. I worked eleven years in the coal mines, and the roof caved in on me one morning leaving me with a broken back and in a wheelchair for the last 41 years. The coal mines will get you one way or another, but I liked working in the mines.
@charliepc

She's a gem♥️ She was raised back when it was the way you're supposed to live. Notice how the greedy government came and ruined it all.
