    You probably won't even see this comment but I have a tip on getting through the cutting soap base. Use a mandolin. Mainstay has a multipurpose chopper. Once you do the initial slice. Put it in the mandolin to chop it into small pieces.

    Hello, what temperature did u add your oils and what temp did you pour at?

      Between 115F and 125F. Check flash points on if using essential oils. Thanks for watching ❤️

      I’m in Miami, I immediately wrap and seal once firm. It’s similar to Neutrogena soap in its wrapping.

    Hi how much of rosehip oil, vitamin e, and shea butter are you adding?

      It’s up to you how much you want to add but around 1-5% of each ingredient.

    Hello, I love your videos. When you use the melt & pour soap, does that mean you don't need to use the sodium hydroxide?

      Hi hun, thank you so much!❤️ Yes you are correct. Just melt and customize by adding your color, fragrance and any moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, vitamin e, etc.

    May i ask what was or is the shelf life of this soap? Did the turmeric get darker with time or turn colors?

      12 month shelf life. The turmeric usually gets lighter, starts fading

      Yes I made my most recent batch with a combination of a shea butter base and aloe base. The look will be different but it will still be a great bar of soap ❤️

    How many teaspoons or spoons for first,second and third layers?

      Just decrease the amount with every layer. Start with 1 1/2 tablespoon, then a 1 tablespoon and for the top layer a 1/2 tablespoon because it should be the lightest if that’s what you’re going for.

      No it won’t essential oils are pretty safe as long as they are diluted. 1-3% usage with them being diluted is a safe zone.

    How doesn't the tumeric stain?

      Turmeric does stain, but this soap will not stain your skin. I’ve been using it for 5 years along with my customers. It’s made into a soap with other many ingredients the turmeric is just additive.

      I start with about a 1 1/2 tbsp for the first layer and I decrease the amount for each layer.

    I am sure by now you have learned to use a sharper cutting instrument to cut M&P soap.
