Bowser was mind controlled by Wario and by using his power, he’s turned Peach’s Castle into an abandoned corrupted building. He hides all his riches and captives in there. Mario has to stop Wario and his massive greedy intentions.

As one of the founding fathers of the SM64 Deep Lore schizoposting rabbithole (I'm the guy who originally wrote the whole textpost on the Wario Apparition and the personalized copies), I just wanna say how crazy it is how so many talented people have come into this and created truly amazing things with the schizoposting I helped develop. It's truly wonderful. This is some good shit.

@@PlanetBobstar While I technically didn't make the iceberg, I developed lore on it, with explanations behind the Wario Apparition and the personalized copies. I can't really show any "credentials", since I posted them on /v/, but I did use a name on those threads as Wario 64.
Plus, on the Focused on Fun thing that the Apparition image originates from, I copy-pasted both of my notepad docs into one large comment on that video (you can look and check it right now and you'll probably find it), and somebody copy-pasted that comment as the title of the giant /x/ lore thread that you probably know this from. I even posted in that thread about how they used my comment, lol. I also have a bunch more notpad documents on the SM64 Deep Lore, so if you want me to also post those as "proof", I can do exactly that!

In order to beat him, you have to overcome your fear. Dive at his nose at a high speed to knock him back, just make sure you don't "fall in." Once he's knocked back, triple or ground-pound jump with a dive into his hat. Ground pound on his head to stun him even longer, as this will guarantee even greater knock back. Jump off and dive into his nose once again in to knock him back. You can't deal damage to him. The only way to beat him is to knock him back into the Dire Dire Docks portal.

But, what if, instead of just knocking him back into the painting, You follow him into this arena surrounded by walls of fire. You had to knock him into the lava, like big bully, but he can fly around and shoot fireballs, the way you knocked him in is when he swoops down, you grab him by the nose and swing him into the lava before he has time to react and knock back Mario.

I have a theory,
The Wario head was a scrapped boss made to prevent you from entering somewhere like Dire Dire Docks. The thing that makes this theory likely is the footage shown at E3. I think he was scrapped for his unsettling design. That's it. Theory over.

I'd like to imagine that the apparition would start chasing you down an endless hallway once he appeared, pulling the portal with him. Things like coins and bobombs would be pulled towards the wario as he chased you with his mouth open, and you needed to throw the bobombs into his mouth once you have enough distance to do so. You would also have to grab the coins so he doesn't eat them and heal himself. If he is defeated, he would vanish and give you access to the underwater bowser level. If he caught you, you'd lose all of your stars and the game would crash. After that, he would randomly appear on paintings in any save file and Chase after you, forcing you to leave the screen or risk losing all of your stars again.

Imagine if this was a boss battle, Mario would need to get huge coins and throw it to wario’s nose. He would have 5 hearts. And when you defeat him, he gives up and gives you a secret star to a secret door called “???”. And it would be in the final battle of bowser. First you need to defeat bowser there, but after that, don’t get the star, move your camera up. After that, you would see a block that makes a bridge. And when you see the bridge, go quickly and go to the door. Inside the room is wario congratulating you from defeating him, after that, he gives you a secret character, him.

The editing in these videos are well done. Still, the Wario head would’ve been a somewhat more believable trend if it weren’t introduced nearly 24 years later where hackers and modders basically fiddled with the game’s files from the ground up.

I think there should have been like a Old Mario Themed level or like a Wario Land level where Wario would be the main boss of that level and after you beat him, then you can play as him.

this reminds me of the time i dreamed super mario galaxy had a final boss you fought after collecting all 120 stars, you took a secret launch star up to a bright white moon and had to use the red star and fire flower at the same time to fly up, aim, and shoot fire at some sort of ghost or something inside a crater, and for the final phase you had to fight the entire moon on top of the comet observatory, it had a face i remember being very uncanny in some way and its attacks shook the group and sent you bouncing up into the air, it was scary as fuck

I won't go into too much detail for the sake of not causing a massive text wall, but I can confirm something weird. It turns out this theme isn't exclusive to the Wario Apparition. It's also the boss theme of *Wario.*
Wario himself is in the second bowser hallway just like the apparition, but instead of chasing Mario down, it plays out as a matching weight-class fight. Before he actually attacks, he gloats a bit about Peaches castle being his now that Peach is gone and then your health bar moves to the side as a second one appears with 10 bits instead of 6, that being Wario's health bar.
Wario moves about half as fast as Mario, has a slightly shorter jump and sends a pretty long-range shockwave with his ground pound. Aside from that, he has a sort of counter attack(?) where if you try to jump on him he'll jump as well, knocking Mario both up and backwards. He also has Mario's melee attacks, but sometimes instead of doing the kick, he'll backflip away and try to run-side into you, even jump-sliding to catch you if you try to leap over him too early. Wario also deals no contact damage unless he's punching, pounding or sliding.
Wario immune to Marios punches, but he'll stagger a little when he's punched, making the full 3 hit combo much easier to do since the kick will not only do damage, but it'll also send him flying back every-time. And finally, he's smart enough to almost always do his ground-pound either just after you do yours or if you miss a slide so he can get a free hit.
The biggest challenge in the fight is actually hitting landing hits on Wario. Despite being a little bigger than Mario, he's still the smallest boss in the game by a long-shot. Not only that, but if he isn't reeling from a punch or being sent flying from a kick, then he's either moving or attacking. He'll also always be facing you, but you don't have any such special mechanics to help you in this fight.
To balance out Wario's unusually smart AI, he can only deal 1 damage per hit. The trick to beating Wario is to always be on the defensive, abuse the fact that you're faster and use how long the hallway is to your advantage.Only go for hits when he either slide-bumps into a wall, is getting up from said slide or misses a ground-pound.
_Or you can just be a coward and spam your sliding attack, since he doesn't seem to know how to dodge that._

I am yet to defeat this the Wario apparition, even with the power of 120 stars I just can't do it. I really want to get the key to the 4th floor but this son of a bitch keeps stopping me. I've tried BLJing to the end of the chase room, but he just drags you back right in front of him, like the bloody WoF in Terraria. Does anyone have any tips on beating him? Getting kind of impatient trying over and over to get him to spawn, only to die again and again.
Try BLJing but stop before you reach the end. then go to the end so it doesnt tp you back.
@@DandyDoondin Thanks for responding, I tried that but he always seems to drag Mario back mid air during a BLJ, so I can reach nowhere near the end and have no control of stopping when he begins to drag me. I'll keep trying for now.
