You listen to music you like and you drift off as the sun comes up....you take a photo or a Teddy bear or something whatever totem that you want on the Ferry with you....
Thsts how I'm going to go if I have a choice.
If I could arrange a suicide like that then I don't think I'd want to kill myself.
@@bartholomewdan very good point. I've just had experiences with someone dying in my arms I still have nightmares about, dementia and cancer. Of course there's reasons to fight but if it was in vain, as in a terminal diagnosis or degenerative one then I'd want to go on my own terms and prefer to spend a few days with my loved ones making memories and videos for them and not put them through the pain of watching me deteriorate. I know that's selfish and suicide but I've seen some terrible things. I certainly don't want to do what I said, I'd love to go in my sleep but I'm just saying if I knew that pain and sickness was only in front of me i would go.
