That is pure comedy. It's almost as if he is a guy who wants to be evil, but doesn't know how to actually be evil; a little bit like Butters' alter ego "Professor Chaos" in South Park.
This was fantastic the 1st time round but every time that I see it the sketch gets funnier! JD being the straight man as opposed to Ricky being a comedian gets me every time!! This is true comedy, even more so with JD in it! Closest to perfect comedic timing as you will ever see! Well done & thank you so much for being great! P.S. Don’t be mean to dwarves!! (Please !)
LOL! Surprised he did this after the golden globes. Love the Depp: "You know I'm working with a great director now, his name is Tim Burton....Do you have any idea who my leading lady is in this film?" Gervais: "Err in this Tim Burton film...err Helena Bonham Carter?" Depp: "How'd you know?!" Gervais:"Stab in the dark" PMSL
I just imagine Ricky Gervais and Stephen merchant getting together and thinking up the most embarrassing things they can get Warwick Davies to do and absolutely wetting themselves.....all the while it's affectionate piss taking
@@marshallislandsg5630 A stab in the back doesn't mean a lucky guess, It means a guess based on no information. The sarcasm was that his answer wasn't based on no information, the answer was obvious because he always casts her.
it means he stabbed someone for the information, but secretively so they didn't see him do it. In medieval times if you wanted information, eg about potions, you would have to stab someone
Johnny turning the fruit bowl upside down has had me laughing for years
😂😂
Drama queen! 😂
I love this mannn

Warwick I don’t know how you kept a straight face ! Your a legend x
Like he's watching the video or reading comments

Only just picked up on these comedy sketches. 11 yrs ago. Wow

Ricky Gervais having fun.
No one.......makes fun.........of Tim Allen........on my watch.........and gets away with it.

I just imagine Ricky Gervais and Stephen merchant getting together and thinking up the most embarrassing things they can get Warwick Davies to do and absolutely wetting themselves.....all the while it's affectionate piss taking

Btw, i know this sounds stupid, but what does he mean with " stab in the dark "
A lucky guess. Which is sarcasm since it wasn't lucky. Tim Burton always casts Helena Bonham Carter.

"A stab in the back doesn't mean a lucky guess." Very true, but a bit surreal !!

Why’s everyone talking about ‘a stab in the back’ suddenly? It’s ‘a stab in the dark’ which does in fact mean a lucky guess
johnny did give up smoking didnt he ?
You like jokes? 😅
What the fuck have I just watched???
Comedy gold
哇哈哈哈哈哈~~~囧尼你要不要这么贱~~~
