This lineup is so sporadic, lol. Like, Zac Efron taking it so seriously, Joey King recalling what she logged, Nicole Kidman zoning out and picking one, and the director breaking the limit and just keep listing on and on. 😂

When I saw it at the time, I thought it was a pretentious movie with no real substance and I was baffled at all the praise it got. I can kind of understand if she disliked it 😅

For real. I get that naming your top four of all time can be a little daunting, but for something like this it shouldn't be that hard to at least rattle off four that you really love.
@@brandonmelling771 yeah that will of course shift a great deal depending on several factors.. but the maint point has to be just to name 4 movies you really like. I would say the dark knight, seven, the lion king, the thin red line

I don't get it.
Letterboxd don't ask about anyone's sexuality, race or representation etc. They ask about movies. What's so hard to understand? When someone starts to answer with some message, I hear only propaganda, indoctrination of some sort. Please, don't let me be misunderstood, I do feel that everyone should be included in film industry, everyone should have representation, but that's not the reason I should admire this or that picture. Movie has no race, has no religion and no sexuality. It is art itself. Or it is not.
For example I don't care, that in "TWELVE ANGRY MEN" are no women at all, or that in "ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN" are only white men. I care about film. I care about art.
That's enough.
