Nowadays, I feel like the chemistry of the actors off screen is way more important than the chemistry on screen. What I mean by that is that the PR team is trying to have a successful promo run so that people go watch the fucking show rather than having a good show so that people will be fucking interested into the promo runs. But what I truly mean is that I have probably watched 10% of the shows being promoted in these videos, but I know some parts of these promo videos word by word so yes, I guess that tells a lot about the current state of Hollywood. As always thank for this hilarious video, Zee ! Fills me with laughters and positivity.
I totally understand bc honestly I still haven’t seen Outer Banks even tho I’ve seen every cast interview. They have great chemistry as people and are fun to watch but the show just isn’t doing it for me… a friend told me it was a skip. I’ll eventually get to it tho.
@@zeekpop hmm i’d say their characters in the show actually have way more chemistry not to say they don’t irl but some of the actors due to fanwars etc aren’t that close as they were during s1! i will say if you ever do decide to watch s1 is so fun and the chemistry between the boys especially is great..it kinda falls from there. s2 is okay and well s3! it definitely exists. will i carry on watching though? absolutely!

I don't think I've come across an on-screen couple with more chemistry than Luke and Nichola. Each time a new Bridgerton S3 PR/interview video comes out, it blows my mind. They have the internet fooled that they're dating, or, you know.........they're actually dating :)

@@daz1717 It's weird how differently I've experienced this from you. During S1, I feel like I was shipping Daphne and Simon for the heck of it. It was kind of like getting Barbie and Ken together and saying 'Now kiss.' They look sharp and sexy together, but, otherwise, they just seemed like actors carrying out a job to me. Kanthony is a more believable couple, imo. It seems like they actually can't keep their hands off each other, but, to me, it gives ' incredible actors.' When I found out Jonathan Bailey is gay, I was insanely impressed but also understood why I never felt any sparks watching them. On the other hand, Polin has had me hooked since S1. The fact that Nic and Luke's real-life friendship is similar to Pen and Colin's friendship has made their portrayal way more realistic. The tension between them is not a put on. There's a warmth and real fondness there that only materialises when two people have actually spent a lot of their time together. I can't get that scene in S3 ep3 where Colin and Penelope have that exchange under the tree out of my mind. It felt so real, it might as well have been happening in my backyard.

It was such a shame though because I loved the cast and was looking forward to seeing the rest of the storylines adapted (esp the crows and Nikolai’s duology) but then again after seeing what happened in s2… maybe it’s fine that it’s not all adapted in one show
