Maybe God didn’t accept Cain’s offering because He knew the hatred in his (Cain) heart before the murder even took place. God knows us more than ourselves.
GOD didn’t accept Cain’s offering because it was not an offering of sacrifice. GOD loves to see us give up something for him and he will bless us ten fold.

It was because of the crop brought forth like the previous two replies, this touches on tithing as well. Give your first, when you get that money let your 10% be the first money spent. Tithing is not just something you put into church but The Scriptures say it is to further the Kingdom of The Shamayim. For example I make $100 for my paycheck before I do anything I take 10% ($10) and feed the homeless. I use my tithes for Bible study and the kids in my neighborhood water and refreshments with The Word of YHWH attached be it in a paper note or just my words. Once we all do our part the rest will follow

I think the "mark" made Cain the first human leper (Lucifer being the first angel), changing his skin tone pale, and this kept the people from approaching him. Leviticus 13 breaks down everything about leprosy and how the priest was to deal with such affected by it.

Abel, the grazer, offered the lamb as a sacrifice and this pleased the Lord. This lamb becomes the Ram that sets headfirst, entangling his horns in the thorn bush (winter). This Ram is known as the Aries constellation. Abraham's killing of this Golden Ram is nothing more than the end of summer and entry into winter. I absolutely love your work. Thank you. Just a quick note. Cain and Abel were of the earth. The dust of the earth is brown. when YHWH set the mark on Cain, it had to match the "curse". You will no longer have union with the earth and the earth will no longer have union with you. One sure fire way to visually demonstrate the stripping away of the union with the earth is to strip away the color/melanin in Cain's skin. A lot of people don't like this reference. However, it is the most reasonable.

Sooooo if Cain killed Able and was then worried about others killing him, how many people were actually on earth by that time??
What I don’t understand is why GOD placed the mark on Cain’s head instead of getting rid of him. What is that symbolic of? At that time Jesus was born to provide redemption so I’m open to what this mark means instead of being eliminated.

@@teegreen3909he basically didn’t give like a REAL sacrifice. He brought some crops while Abel brought the BEST portion of the first born lambs. In turn, it was kind of like a let me just bring something, but not a whole hearted sacrifice. To sacrifice anything, is to give up something really meaningful, or heavy. Cain’s offering was kind of like “Here God, whatever”. Plus it could’ve been that Cain’s heart in general wasn’t pure.

I agree with you about revenge. Revenge implies that Abel did something to Cain and that Cain was retaliating or seeking revenge. Cain was envious of his brother for making sacrifices that were pleasing to God, and Cain knew that he wasn't bringing crops (I believe he was a farmer) suitable for sacrifice.
