Most people today have been having a lot of failures in forex and crypto because of poor orientation and bad experts.
Don't let all that discourage you, don't give up. Trading takes years to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them, moving stops to BE may help. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators or rsi into your strategy to make your entries better and prevent overtrading. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later .
You're right, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much, does any come to mind?
Lots of good theory, well-presented. Another thing to consider is that the majority of trendline breaks don't reverse the market and are there to trap inexperienced traders. You can make this a little safer if you don't play the initial trendline break, but wait for it to pullback to the trendline and short there. But know that professional traders know that you're going to place your stop above the last swing high and they will run your stops there, getting you stopped out over and over again. Trendline breaks look great on paper and when back testing but are much more complicated to trade and fail quite often..
That’s why after the trendline breaks and pulls back you put a limit order below the first breakdown outside of the trendline essentially just catching the momentum in the market

You trade them with other confluences like support or resistance on a higher timeframe and chart pattern like double or triple top and sometimes morning star or bearish engulfing patterns, that’s from a bullish to bearish trend line breakout

Excellent very detailed and accurate video you posted mate,On the other hand, there are many ways to manipulate the market, I was able to grasp the knowledge of trading crypto assets quite early, but I was still limited due to my lack of technical understanding of how to analyse the digital marketing, but that all changed when I met Mrs Muriel. More emphasis should be placed on Day Trading,as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market
Did you know waiting for a pullback can always cause the market to leave you, there's no way you can tell whether there's gonna be a pullback or not so my advice is that please for Christ Just take any opportunity that the market makes available, move your stop loss at break even and incase pullback happens, you either get stopped out with little or no profit but not loss ofcourse and Sooner later you can spot out an entry opportunity again, now incase the market happens not to make a pullback,,, very well you smile all the way to the bank that is one secret that's gonna put you ahead of most trendline breakout trading strategy traders. Take my advice and remember me later. My last addition is never enter without a confirmation candlestick though.
