I lost my Husky Maxwell to chronic hip displaysia, he helped me when I was sick with cancer and it hurt me so much that I couldn't help him do the same. Cry, laugh, be angry; I sat in the bed for a week straight but GOD! Love and light my friend!

I have been rescuing cats since I was a child. Along with the joy we get from having our four-legged babies comes the terrible pain when we lose them. Every one takes a little piece of your heart when they go. I am so very sorry that you lost that beautiful puppy. I guess the only blessing is this is that by letting him go, you have saved him from suffering. Nothing like beautiful music to bring out the sorrow. Cry when you need to -- we all understand.

I read the comments before watching the video and read about your dog passing. I felt sad for you. I then watched the video and I moarned with you. I am sad for your loss. My dog, my baby, has been diagnosed with a hemangiosarcoma in thw right ventricle of his heart. It broke my heart when I found out. I know that everything will pass at some point and dogs have far too short a life span. My dog is 9 right now and I want him around for more years. His condition is an unpredictable one and that makes it a daily exercise of gratitide when I see him as I walk in the door or when we wake up in the morning. There is not very much on this earth like the love of a 🐕. So sorry for your loss. I read a plaque at the vet that says something like "It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take piece of my heart with them, and every dog who comes into my life gives me a piece of their heart. If I live long enough every component of my heart will be dog and I will be as loving and generous as they are"

I’m so sorry, I’m crying with you. I had to let my ESA (emotional support animal) cat go on March 25. Every day I think, could I have done more? I feel immense guilt, because her *sole* job was to keep me going. She literally kept me from killing my self so many times. And I felt I failed her, because I had to say goodbye when I didn’t want to.

Never, never apologize for feeling what you feel. We are all human & trust me, anyone who has loved an animal knows what you are feeling. I grew up on a farm so I have had my share of heartbreak from losing an animal I loved. From a pig to a horse to numerous dogs. They become part of your family. People who have never experienced the love that an animal gives you will never feel it. About 2 months ago, my brother ‘s bull mastiff passed away . I loved him so much, I called him my nephew. I went through the motions with my brother and his wife who 2 days ago got a puppy. So, I am an aunt again. I am so sorry for your loss. So sorry.
Our pets are very integral parts of our family dynamic and their loss is equally impactful. I have felt similar pain and heartache and was crying along with you when you shared your loss with us.

aaawww...so sorry to hear of your loss, it's never easy to lose our fur-babies they are family and it always hurts!! he's a beautiful, handsome boy...but you have to know that even though your pup was only 3 years old they were probably the best three years, because he was so well loved!! don't feel you have to apologize as we've all been through something that has torn us up, at one time or another.
So sorry for your loss. You did what was best for him. I have never heard anyone else make a string instrument sing like Kevin can. Truly a unique talent.
When he came in with the Oooohs, instant tears. I'm so sorry about your sweet little dog. I work at a vet's office, and that's one of the hardest parts of working there. Cancer is so prevalent, and I've lost too many of my friends to it recently.

Pat I had to put my little dog down 4 months ago he was a Rat Terrier I had him for 19 years his kidneys failed I feel your pain brother.I miss him everyday. Music touches all of us when we need it. I lost my father on Saturday 1-11-2020 and was scrolling through youtube looking for something to watch and this was recommended. This is the best version I have ever heard of this song. My condolences on losing your pup, it is just as hard because they are apart of your family. Hopefully time has helped heal the pain slightly, just know that we are all hear for you.

Loss is loss no matter what kind of loss it is. I can only offer sympathy and tell you my Bobby was 18 when we had to let him go. That was over 40 years ago and I still miss him. Hugs from America.
I have lost many pets cats and dogs alike each one like a child to me and each one special in their own way. Dogs are angels on earth and we don't deserve them, I still cry when i think about mine all the way from the one who walked me half a mile to the bus stop each day all the way from elementary school to high school. to the one i lost 5 years ago. (the last dog i had). It helps me to talk to them, out loud even if your family thinks you are crazy. do it for yourself do it for your beloved pet.

One of the best ways I heard Kevin described it is that he uses his instruments like his voice and his voice like an instrument. So sorry for your loss. I've been through this myself. My baby was 15 years old and I had him since he was born. I've never been able to get another one because I just can't go through that pain and loss again. I live in NYC and miss his company but after 15 years with my baby it was like losing a child. So Pat you are not alone and we all sympathize with you and yours. Please know that I will pray for you to feel comforted.

I know this is a couple days late, but I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. I've grown up with dogs (and other pets), and they truly become part of the family - a part of your world -, and losing them hurts just a much as losing a person. I'm currently a sniveling messing typing this because two of my dogs I never got to say goodbye too; our first dog was taken to the vet and put down when I was at school, and I came home to him just being gone; our third dog hurt herself jumping off the couch, and my parents woke up to find her stone cold dead the next morning. Vet said she'd twisted something inside, and nothing could have been done. I was off at college, and hadn't been home in a couple months. All my other pets, I've had closure with, and while I do miss them terribly, it's these two that still hit me hard sometimes, like now listening to your own pain. Take it easy and take time to process your grief; we'll still be here ^^
