Dude, I got the same set at a pawn shop for $50.00 and my only complaint, which wasn't that big a deal...was the bass response, it's decent enough for my recording studio...but all I did was hook up my Sony 10 inch subwoofer inline with the monitors and that solved the bass problem. Just make sure that you keep the bass on the subwoofer to the bare minimum...just enough to hear the bass and be able to adjust the mix accordingly. After that...they are PERFECT!!!!
Are these speakers appropriate for a desktop computer? I was thinking of purchasing a pair of these PM0.4n black speakers with a PC-1e(B)/(W) volume controller. I think that both speakers have one RCA cable that can connect to the controller, then where does INPUT from the controller go?
