    Who is Sota's Exotics
Sota's Exotics is run by Sam Schulman, along with help from my girlfriend Cota. We are originally from Illinois, moved to Knoxville TN in May of 2021. Then down to Chattanooga TN in June of 2022. We still currently reside there. We keep many different types of Reptiles, Plants, and Invertebrates. But mostly focus on Captive breeding of endangered Turtles/Tortoises. I believe the need for lights will lead to innovation in ways to continue to keep reps that need the lights. I hope anyways. Its not just private keepers that this hurts but zoos and rehab facilities that keep reptiles as well.

Hopefully. Sounds like the government overstepping thier bounds without understanding the situation.

because they are not accurate in their readings it's common sense that they aren't banning UVB and sun basking bulbs if anything they are saving ill informed people from using them so think of it as a favor the 10.0 doesn't even get up to .5% 6 inches from the top

This is kinda scary, I’m not sure what I would use instead of heating and UVB bulbs. My pets life’s depend on it. And I’m lucky to even get my turtles outside in the summer but once fall comes around it gets way to cold for my turtles. If that’s the case I guess we would all have to move down south or something just to give our pets some sun year around.

The biggest problem with this reptile heat bulb ban is we have people who have littler kids who would be afraid of the dark as reptile owners. Plus the United States have the highest crime rates in the world especially kid napping

Heck, i’m a full grown woman, and half my head is full of silver hair not trying to age myself, but just saying. And I’m gonna become afraid of the dark if they take our reptile bulbs away!! Lol 😆 I guess let’s bring some lighter notes on this very scary issue❣️🫶🏻☀️ much love and blessed be friend
