Thank you for this! I'm just starting out (around level 20 on Oliver) and so I'm still using the initial ones, but I'll use this as a guide in the future
Have this game in my Switch backlog for months now, might replay it after watching your video. It has been years since I played this awesome game back in PS3 days. Thanks buddy.
If you grew up on jrpg it's really good, but the grind is serious. Thank you truly for commenting, it gets ever so lonely in the emptiness of self awareness.
I'm playing now. Im level 33 and 48 hours in, and I have no idea as to why my familiars are so weak. They said " Bonehead, Oroborus, and Monolith are pretty good but they don't seem to be doing too well aside from the Monoliths tank ability
@@cloudstrife3762 I mean you could have 1 Dinoceros, 1 Catastroceros and 1 of the red evolution, I forget it's name. Essentially 1 of each available element.
Madcap is actually better than Nightcap. He has +1 extra movement speed which can be traded for a +30DEF +30MDEF Iron Clad Badge. And it has overall better attack damage output at max level. All its stats are above 400 with exception of 360MDEF. If you equip it with a Sorcerer's Soul, or better yet a Planet Splitter (the materials are easiest to farm) and either Nazcaa Helm or War God Helm, you can put it in the front row and all incoming hits will either be a miss or a single digit, while it deals above 110+ per melee hit. It has one of the most damaging fire spell Towering Inferno which deals 600 usually, and 900 with Time to Shine. It also has Firewall and Mighty Light which can clear AOE with 300 damage.
Could you release a short video where we could farm these guys?, I’m having a really hard time finding/researching a farm spot for dualynx and clinketyclank, would be much appreciated and thank you for introducing me to these awesome familiars! 👍
Actually it would be faster just to tell you, the robot is a rare spawn just outside the pig city and the lynx is near the mountain village. Hope that helps.
@@optimusgrime8265 it's taking a while to level up, but I can tell it's worth it. I just got a Sillymander as well so I should be good. I just beat the snake that turned the prince into a frog.
@@optimusgrime8265 I just transformed it to Destroceros. I just got a toko but they take FOREVER to level, I just beat the beast in Yule for the second stone, and the toko is still on level one. I just swapped it out for the familiar i found in the cave Southeast of yule

Not really, all of the ones I show are available early and easily, you can acquire a Toko about halfway through, but by the time you level it up to being useful the game is over. If you want to farm and kill enemies afterward sure there are better familiars, but I take everything into cosideration, not just stats. You can basically steamroll this game with 3 quick familiars like puss in boats, everything else is just vanity.
Paleolith, Wildwood, Greater Naiad, Docotoko, Najapatra, Tundragorer, Bone baron, Catastroceros, Nightcap, Scrapdragon, Puss in boots, Griffrigerator, this are the Best Op Broken.

Great choices. I would add Horrid Floret, Najapatra and Unibopper to the list as well, very good stats in terms of offense and defense!
Amazing video very insightful this gonna help me out a lot them boss fights gonna be a breeze thanks brother you rock😁💯
Thank you so much I hope it helps
I grinded for hours just to catch 3 dinoceros. Now, all of my characters are equipped with a dinoceros.
LOL max out one of each evolution, one red, one blue and one normal

It says that Whipper Snappers are up there and they morph into a Trapper Snapper, can't I just catch a trapper snapper?

Yea Dinoceros is banned on my new playthrough for sure. Broke the game
Ni no kuni is my fave new school jrpg for sho
Hi iam you new subscriber, iam still confused about the familiars where do u see the max lvl familiar before i evolve them.. an is draggle good?
You don't see a max level beforehand, they all usually have 2 upgrade paths by feeding them. Draggle I'm not sure about.
What level were u when u fought shadar?
Hmm, I want to say around 50 or so.
Genial
I got that griffin from the ticket and it feels like it breaks early game?
Yes it is incredibly broken
I just went to the genies steps and got a Dino in the first battle!!
Congrats, it turns into the best familiar.

Which one is better nino kuni 1 or nino kuni 2?
1 is turn based 2 is action so it's really up to what you like more but most people would say 1 is the better game.
Why does everyone use Swaine over the other guy?
Probably for his stealing ability, plus you don't get Marcus until late in the game
