So you can’t really compare him winning as much as tom brady at this point. He left super team to coming home to play with an unproven kid in kyrie and Kevin Love. and Johnny manziel was hyped up to be basically as good as mahomes is right now so it isn’t exactly crazy it was a bit of a reach but not totally out of the ordinary to say.

This is the same kind of mentality why toxic Twitter users hide behind while negatively affecting the userbase with their misguided views. Yeah this is irrelevant to the skip bayless conversation but even rusty said this kind of issue stems on a society scale. So whoever’s reading this, do not say that “it isn’t that deep LOL”
It would fine for entertainment if he was some CZcams channel or a podcast but he’s actually in live television trolling Lebron on a daily basis and getting paid millions in the process. Yet people constantly tell me, “the media favours Lebron”, yet they pay someone like Skip Bayless more than most NBA rookies to tear down Lebron’s legacy every chance he gets.
It’s gotten so bad to the point where people will genuinely argue false narratives like “Lebron isn’t clutch”, narratives that are started by Skip but will be embarrassed when faced with factual evidence and statistics that say otherwise which only further proves how terrible Skip Bayless is as an analyst.

I think this going to be my favorite video yet.
One of my final projects this semester was a paper on Bayless and modern sports media. After writing 10 pages about Bayless & ESPN, I feel like I need a nice prolonged break from humanity.

To answer your question, a lot of us who like like skip don't necessarily agree with his takes or even just enjoy hating. We instead find him entertaining as a character, interested in how he will justify his crazy takes and enjoy a different perspective as it act like a breathe of fresh air. Just imagine a world where the entire sport media was just "LeBron is amazing", "Mahomes is a generational talent". We would be bored without contrast
Except there's other analysts who are more detailed and researched contrarians. Skip ain't the only one. Skip isn't researched and doesn't provide anything new.

I love skip man lol you just gotta take it as entertainment. He’s not a true analyst and he’s never been. I’m gonna be really sad whenever skip is no longer on tv with Shannon. Easily the only show I watch consistently. I’m also a huge lebron fan and even with that I still appreciate skip.
