Steam Threshing at Bardwell, Suffolk, 2021 (4K)

When a friend Bob asked me if I'd like to film a steam threshing event at Bardwell in Suffolk then, of course, I jumped at the opportunity. Why? Bob's of an age that he still remembers interesting and important historical details about how such things were actually done. So, I put a radio microphone on him, grabbed one of my cameras and off we went for an enjoyable morning out! The result is this 20-minute film.
Our sincere thanks to Jonathan Wheeler (and I'm sure others) for arranging the event and especially in allowing me to film/produce this short documentary about a once commonplace agricultural process. We all hope you enjoy the result and find it informative.
