- How install a cast Iron toilet flange in a concrete floor. My toilet color or flange broke so I had to order a new one to a cast iron drain pipe and this is what I had to do to get it to work with my floor and tile.
Thank you for posting this video! You saved me $1700.
I know right if you call a plumber they will charge you so much money it’s ridiculous just do it yourself you save unbelievable amounts of cash and this is the first one I ever did so if I can do it anybody can thanks for watching
Mounting the flange to the concrete is done through the four holes not the closet bolts slots. Is there is nothing to anchor to then use a self leveling hydraulic concrete poured through the slots for the closet bolts until the void is full after it hardens your can install the anchors then set your toilet
Thanks for that info really appreciate it and thank you for watching
Do you know what type of screws?
The edge of the flange is suppose to rest ON the tile floor.
Good tip thanks for watching
What is this flange called?
I’m not sure if I have to research that
